Fetch Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Wow I really liked him when he was with Chicago Quote
SiouxScore Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Lots of sloppy turnovers from the Wild tonight and still could have came away with a regulation victory. Jets had some luck tonight with a few pucks getting through Hutchison and just rolling wide and a couple posts from the Wild as well. Dubnyk was very good again tonight especially in the 1st period when the Wild were horrible. He really couldn't do much about either goal with Nino tipping the 1st in after Brodziak made no effort to get to a loose puck and the 2nd being a result of a horrible Spurgeon turnover. Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Jets needed that one bad. 2-0-2 since Kanegate. Hope the train is back on track for Winnipeg. Get some pieces Chevy and get Kane out. Quote
MafiaMan Posted February 11, 2015 Author Posted February 11, 2015 Nashville beats Tampa Bay 3-2 in the battle of the league's top teams. Southern expansion worked! Quote

passit_offthegoalie Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 From article about Vandy breaking through with the Flyers: "VandeVelde joined the Flyers last season on a one-year, two-way contract because GM Ron Hextall liked the way he played with his son Brett (who is now with the Phantoms) at the University of North Dakota. Ray77 Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Today's discussion tawpic: Evander Kane: Would you want him on your team? Discaws amawngst yawselfs. Sabres get Evander Kane in trade Stafford is involved in this trade - he's now a Jet. I think the Jets did very well here. Quote
The Sicatoka Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 The Jets have agreed to deal Kane, defenseman Zach Bogosian and an unsigned prospect to the Sabres for defenseman Tyler Myers, winger Drew Stafford, a first-round draft pick and prospects Joel Armia and Brendan Lemieux. Wow, I think the Jets got "win-win" out of that deal --> dealt Kane (addition by subtraction) and got the better set of players/picks. Quote
90siouxfan Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Sabres get Evander Kane in trade Stafford is involved in this trade - he's now a Jet. I think the Jets did very well here. Awesome, I love this trade Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Excellent move for both the short and long term. Get Stafford and Myers that can help now push for the playoffs, and the prospects that can keep building the Jets improving farm system, plus the pick doesn't hurt either. Quote
Goon Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Watching Paint Dry was painful tonight. I had to change the channel. Quote
