siouxjoy Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 Still feel lucky we got CC instead of Miami The thought of facing Miami in Mpls doesn't make me all that excited, either. Quote
Speez Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 Must be my good connection but the Sioux look pretty good in the 2nd & 3rd. Quote
Wilbur Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 Thoughts: ~Zane was star #1. Could have been 3-0 in the first or even 3-1 going into the break. He made some key saves to keep the game in reach. ~Key play was the play that tied it up. UND probably got away with a tripping, and then its in the net. ~Nice to see some scoring from four different guys. Thats huge for down the road. ~Its been said a thousand times, but I'm happy UND got CC. Close out game tomorrow evening. I thought CC played with a ton of energy, interesting to see how much they have tomorrow evening. Quote
farce poobah Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 I'm rooting for overtime in St Cloud. Several. 1 Quote
MafiaMan Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 The only reason the Sioux won tonight is because they are back to the green helmets and green breezers with the black stripes. True 'dat! Quote
SiouxFanatic Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 Wow! I've never seen anything that close to 0:00. Unbelievable. Unless you were fortunate enough not to watch UND's implosion against New Hampshire in the 2008-2009 NCAA tournament.....then you have before. Quote
SiouxScore Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 Slow start and not one of the teams best games but good teams are supposed to be able to win games even when they aren't at their best and that is what happened tonight, hope for a quick start tomorrow night and to finish off the sweep. Quote
MafiaMan Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 WHERE IN THE WORLD WAS MIAMI'S WEAKSIDE GUY ON THE KILL? Obviously not paying attention...what a bonehead play. Quote

They are on the road after an awful year with practically no road wins against a team that has been winning a lot of games, and they really had jump. Could have been a different result. Good heart in that team. Quote
SiouxFanatic Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 Well I did see that too...thanks for the trip down memory lane, LOL. Had to be the wet blanket. Had flashbacks when clown tied it up. Lol. Quote

UND-RedSox fan Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 Wow! I've never seen anything that close to 0:00. Unbelievable. Omaha had a goal like that a couple years ago against us. I don't remember exactly which year, but it was in Omaha within the last three years. Quote
