Redneksioux Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 So I was all ready to listen to the Sioux on 96.1 while watching the outdoor NHL game this evening. And what do you know? Kvly has the bison basketball game on instead of the NHL game which was scheduled. Stupid decision kvly. Just stupid. Quote
Lgbnaf Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 I agree but the hockey game will be on after the lame basketball game Quote
Redneksioux Posted March 2, 2014 Author Posted March 2, 2014 They could have put the ndsu game on me tv. Or at least the hawks game on me tv. What a crock. Quote
andtheHomeoftheSIOUX!! Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Start emailing your local affiliate. I have already emailed KMOT. This is crap. Go Hawks by the way! 1 Quote
siouxweet Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 why show a bb game that means absolutely nothing? Quote
JohnboyND7 Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 why show a bb game that means absolutely nothing? Because one of like 80 hockey games means so much....local team playing. Get used to it happening more and more bro. Quote
Redneksioux Posted March 2, 2014 Author Posted March 2, 2014 Because one of like 80 hockey games means so much....local team playing. Get used to it happening more and more bro. Because it's a game that NBC thought important enough to air nationally. And the idiots at kvly decide a bizun bouncyball game should take precedent. Whoever made that decision should be canned. 3 Quote

Shawn-O Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 KVLY bumped the NHL national game for the second-best team in North Dakota? 1 Quote
Lgbnaf Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Basketball is only big for those who can't skate 2 Quote
Shawn-O Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Basketball is only big for those who can't skate Another hockey bigot, oh goodie! 1 Quote
SiouxForever Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Yeah, because a useless D1 basketball team against two horrible teams is superior than Toews vs Crosby in an outdoor national NHL Game. KVLY is a joke. Whoever made that decision should be fired. I don't even want to hear an argument. Person should be fired! And I don't know what reality distoration field you live in, no one give a !@#$ about Bison/Denver men's basketball! Quote
Lgbnaf Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Or the senior night crap that they are still airing Quote
senor_sieve Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 I'm going to be really upset if the 10pm news is backed up because of a stupid hockey game. Quote

Redneksioux Posted March 2, 2014 Author Posted March 2, 2014 And the idiots at kvly finally decide they've shown enough of senior night in the bizun crap arena and have put the national hockey game on with 16 minutes remaining. Quote
Lgbnaf Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Wow after all bb bs kvly jumps to the hockey game in the third period! Might have well been a lacrosse game on to delay hockey Quote
Uncle_Rico Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Basketball is big. The NHL is not that important in North Dakota. Yes, basketball is so F'n huge that a junior hockey team in Fargo that has 7 wins all season is outdrawing NDSU basketball. 3 Quote
Dagger Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 My biggest complaint was if they intended to go to the hockey game after the basketball game was over, why didn't they go right to it. Did they really need to show a repetitive 45minute post game ceremony. it was just a slow rambling photo op for Phillips. Way to drawn out. Enough already. Quote
Ranger Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Basketball is big. The NHL is not that important in North Dakota. It's Saturday night... You're a college kid. Shouldn't you be stalking your latest hits on farmersonly.com? Quote

Something you won't see anywhere else. Only in Fargo. Now they're pushing that garbage all over the state. Quote
dmksioux Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Anyone else see the Fighting Sioux flag/banner hanging in the upper deck? Camera caught it when scanning the crowd during a break in play. Quote
Uncle_Rico Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Anyone else see the Fighting Sioux flag/banner hanging in the upper deck? Camera caught it when scanning the crowd during a break in play. Saw that too! Maybe it was Sioux-cia that put it up. Quote
willistonalum Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 I just could not believe they were showing the NDSU BB game. I keep thinking there must be a snow storm or something because it was an outdoor game and maybe the hockey game was cancelled. A meaningless BB game over a National TV sporting event of any kind is just plain stupid. Don't give me the argument of the almighty advertising dollar either, that just does not pass the stink test. Bad Bad decision IMO. Quote
