jjensen
Out of curiosity, is there any chance we bring in a QB next season that has the potential to replace Mollberg? Looks like we might have had two QB's on campus today. Buddy said these two were on campus. Brandon Snoberger from Sartell http://www.hudl.com/athlete/2139927/brandon-snoberger Josh Ringleburg from Greendale, WI http://www.hudl.com/athlete/1700092/josh-ringelberg
Hambone
The Jacobsen twins out of Florida are taking official visits to UND on November 15th.

He's a big kid, threw a nice ball, moved well and seemed to have a feel for the pocket. He had a rough night that though. I believe they got shutout. His WR's had some drops, but definitely not his best night.

choyt3
Another Sartell player UND has shown interest in, maybe even an offer to(??), has received a PWO to Minnesota. http://247sports.com/Player/Nick-Jensen-33484/Feeds

He also plays LB. This is a kid that loves to hit so at FB or LB it would bring some good grit. http://www.hudl.com/athlete/1780242/nick-jensen

He's physically big and athletic and seemed to take a good angle of pursuit on ball carriers on sweeps. I did see him over pursue which obviously contradicts my first statement but over pursuit I think is normal for kids this age.

I see some athleticism in him too. I'm sure Schmidt could teach him a thing or two and the over pursuit than would be a non issue.
UND92,96
SiouxFootballInsider @SiouxFootball 1h1 hour ago For #UND, bye week = recruiting. Coaches are heading in all directions this week. ND, SD, IA, MN, WI, CO, IL, and Canada will be visited.
jdub27
Looks like Brandon Poulin (speedster WR/DB/PR, Winnipeg) and Justice MacNeal (RB, Illinois) both favorited/retweeted that. I see MacNeal is listed as "Interest" on the Wiki but nothing on Poulin.
MoSiouxFan
Wonder who conducts practice in their absence........ or maybe the players get a few days off.
UNDColorado
I was wondering the same thing...maybe a coach and Baukel stay back?
Player21
I was wondering the same thing...maybe a coach and Baukel stay back? Monday is a day off for the players on a usual week anyways so coaches are probably out Monday and back Tuesday-Thursday. Leave Thursday after practice and come back Sunday for meetings. Friday's the players usually have off during a bye week and have some sort of workout with the strength staff/treatments for injuries. Saturday is usually completely off unless they have treatments set up for injuries and Sunday starts a new game week and business as usual.
iramurphy
I was wondering the same thing...maybe a coach and Baukel stay back? GFhockey takes QB's and assigns the rest of the GOBC to the other duties. the team is in good hands.

gfhockey
I'm not involved with coach nor the Gobc club is either We just hire and fire coaches

jdub27
After watching his hudl, it's a stretch to call Poulin a speedster.... Yeah, you are correct. I looked a little deeper, his 40 time is listed at 4.81. Only watched a highlight or two and with his size (5'8", 150lbs) I just assumed he was a little quicker. I just imagine repeatedly asking players "Simple question?" after bad plays, and a rousing speech about natty's.

Player21
Thanks. That answers it. At least that is roughly about how it worked when I was around, could be a little different now, but the coaches definitely are using this week of practice to focus on fundamentals and getting younger players reps while giving older players a little bit of a rest. Hopefully, we get 3 or 4 players back for Southern Utah; not too optimistic about either Simmons or McGill, though.

Others that I don't know the status of are: Shaugs, Cummings, Edmunds, Walker (has he fully recovered from whatever was ailing him?) and Cerrentino (although, he should be ok as he came back into the PSU game, but it sounded like Doc Mann had to do some serious manipulation of his fingers). Watched that happen on the sideline. Cerrentino didn't look like he was enjoying it.....

Not sure what his injury is or how serious, but, needless to say, it would be great to have him back next week.
