AZSIOUX Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 7 in a row, only a couple points out of first but UND has played two more games than Scsu. These last non-conf games are very important in the pairwise. Siouxweep the beavs Quote
brianvf Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 BSU always seem to play the Sioux tough. Hope for a couple more wins! Last OOC series, so need to make the most of it. Quote
Goon Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 BSU always seem to play the Sioux tough. Hope for a couple more wins! Last OOC series, so need to make the most of it. They're not an easy out but BSU has only beat UND once in 40-years. I think a sweep is paramount. Common opponent, NMU swept BSU. Quote
Goon Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 BSU last 10 games 2-4-4. UND Last 10 games 7-2-1. Quote
gfhockey Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 if we don't go at least 1-0-1 the pwr will be hard to climb Quote
bigskyvikes Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 BSU last 10 games 2-4-4. UND Last 10 games 7-2-1. Goon how dare you print that? That statement looks like the Sioux are on their way and improving! I read on here many times there is no way this team does anything right...lol 2 Quote

MissSioux85 Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Anyone else making the trip? I'll be there with a couple of friends. Quote

Wilbur Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 One game at a time. One win at a time. A sweep would be big heading into Denver. Quote

smokey the cat Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 How is the new arena in Bemidji? Quote
Goon Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 How is the new arena in Bemidji? In my opinion, it's a higher end version of the Scheel Arena. I like it. I got a tour when it opened and it's got a lot of amenities. Quote

Upper Deck Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 How is the new arena in Bemidji? Goon's comparison is true. It's a nice rink but they didn't make the bowl steep enough and the advertising banners scattered around kinda cheapen it up. It's a great asset for Bemidji and definitely one of the nicer college barns. Tap beers are generally $5, and they have premium beers and a mixed drink station. With the first expected full house in quite some time, they'll probably jack up the concession prices . . . Quote

bigskyvikes Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 They don't usually sell out? If not, that surprises me. They never sell out unless the Sioux are there. The last Sioux game there I had a 70?? Year old guy in front of me get carded for buying a beer! Then my turn and I asked if he thought he needed to card that old guy, he said "we are suppose to card everyone" Where has common sense gone? Quote
Redneksioux Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 I've been to one gam there and it's the one game the Sioux lost so I've told myself I can't go to any more games there:/ Great facility though. Met a number of Sanford center employees and they were all very educated on the sport and very kind. Don't know if they still do but for that game all ushers wore Paul Bunyan style bemidji woolen mill vests. Very neat. Quote

Go to Tennessee and watch how they card people. Everyone is carded and people have their ids ready. It is strange to see an old lady with a walker get carded. Quote
stoneySIOUX Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 You guys have any idea why USCHO and CHN have two different PWR rankings? USCHO says t19 for UND and CHN says 15... I vote for 15 http://www.collegehockeynews.com/ratings/ncaapwcr.php http://www.uscho.com/rankings/pairwise-rankings/d-i-men/ Quote
