smokey the cat Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Agreed. This whole weekend is forgettable at best... Hak currently telling Hennessy how good the SFU goalie played. Maybe he should have recruited him since both of their goalies were eligible to play here. Quote
gfNDfan Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 they should call you Smokey the puff since you're just a puff of smoke here... Quote
smokey the cat Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 they should call you Smokey the puff since you're just a puff of smoke here... You bring so much to the discussion. Quote

Oxbow6 Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Exhibition games don't matter as the voices in my head are chanting from reading the past 2 game threads but potentially losing your best player to injury would absolutely kills this teams chances of making the NCAA tournament. No way to sugar coat this one...completely wasted trip...but I'm sure the HR dept and BF used their "points system" to justify the scheduling of it months back. Least we have another offensively inept NCHC team in CC coming to the Ralph next week. Quote
scpa0305 Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Wow so I was close....I called a 5-4 ot win, ha that's great. Looks like they made their notorious comeback against the Canadian club team, what effort! Quote
Rory Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Agreed. This whole weekend is forgettable at best... Hak currently telling Hennessy how good the SFU goalie played. Of course they ran into a goalie who stood on his head. Great start to 2014. Pathetic. Quote
Shawn-O Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 So UND squeaks out a 4-3 win over a club team. Wow, what a ringing endorsement for NCAA hockey. 2 Quote

geaux_sioux Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Possibly the worst weekend performance in the history of any sports team at UND? Also, I didn't say I knew gfhockey I just said he touched me on the arm once. Quote
gfhockey Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 guys we will be ok we split with two of th best Canadian jv teams out there.. hak has the boys ready relax. Quote

Least we have another offensively inept NCHC team in CC coming to the Ralph next week. after going out to bc and splitting with what someone on here called two jv programs there is no chance und sweeps a legit ncaa team this coming weekend and with these two teams it could be a pair of snooze fests of 1-0 or 2-1 games. Siouxperman8 Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Everyone step back from the ledge. They were exhibition games. Quote
senor_sieve Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 So UND squeaks out a 4-3 win over a club team. Wow, what a ringing endorsement for NCAA hockey. well it is the second tier of pre-NHL hockey, after the CHL. Quote
Hayduke Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 One of my best friends is a Simon Fraser grad. Damn, that was too close! I think these games were a mistake. The outcomes could affect recruiting. Hope I'm wrong. Quote
