Prices for all tickets remaining the same also doesn’t really jive with the whole free market thing either. The whole macroeconomic supply and demand deal means prices will increase for a product or service more in demand. You’re saying me buying a ticket a year ago for a flight tomorrow should cost the same as someone buying it today when so many variables have changed it what it costs to operate that flight. Even if the pilots have received a raise, inflation(time value of money), fuel prices have doubled. Doesn’t make sense If you deem it not worth it, you vote with your wallet and don’t purchase. If other consumers agree and refuse to pay, prices come down. Quote

It varies day to do and week to week, if you buy a year ahead that’s your problem I’m saying a flight from x to z should have a price 0n it and not depend on what day of the week it is or be more because of the plane filling up Quote

Anything related to price fixing based on congressional action sounds like too much government involvement/oversight to me. They have enough problems with fiscal responsibility to entrust them with that. Quote
