Lots of talent on that roster. Not going to lie, I know zero about the goaltending. Which we have seen make team USA (Campbell, Goepfert), or kill them (Thomas Fricken McCollum......)

I'd call the US team full of talent, but then I saw Canada's roster...

Yep not even close when comparing to Canada's roster. Canada will be filled with a roster full of players that would be playing in the NHL and some that already have. I think this World Junior tourney will very much resemble the 2005 tourney that was in Grand Forks.

I think they are a little butthurt about losing 3 in a row and want to win this one badly.

More reason to cheer against them.

On Canada's prelim roster, there are 8 players with NHL experience. I don't want to sandbag already, but this tournament is Canada's to lose (as usual). Hopefully the lockout ends to help even up the playing field a little.

Hopefully they get this lockout figured out soon. Some of those NHL experienced players may no longer be elegible depending on their respective clubs decision.

@TSNBobMcKenzie: USA may have two sons of CAN pros as 4th line size/strength. Stefan Matteau (BB/NJD), son of Stephane. Tyler Biggs (OSH/TOR), son of Don.

@mike_morreale: U.S. coach Phil Housley said he liked the enthusiasm exhibited by the line of Grimaldi, JT Miller, Gaudreau during camp. #2013wjc

@TSNBobMcKenzie: John Gibson (KIT/ANA) starts as the No. 1 goalie. Jon Gillies (PC/CGY) and Garret Sparks (GUE/TOR) will battle for the backup role.

@SchlossmanGF: RT @TSNBobMcKenzie: Top line likely JT Miller (HFD/NYR) between John Gaudreau (BC/CGY) and Rocco Grimaldi (UND/FLA).

Scratch that. 11 forwards 7 defense. Grimaldi, Gaudreau, Miller, Trouba, Jones are the scratches. All locks for Team USA. #2013WJC

The line of Rocco gaudreau and miller could be something to watch! Now that's big time talent. Wow. Funny 3 of these 5 have UND ties. Jones and trouba are as good as it gets on the blue line. Depth may hamper USA. Go Rocco, go USA!
