Rough weekend for NCHC, went 5-7-2 with some losses that should not have been.

The fact that the conference officials took so much exception to the B1G Mistake sign and took it away is both humorous and concerning. I guess it struck a nerve. Of all the signs people get away with and this one gets confiscated speaks to the point that the new conferences are mistakes.

It would be one thing if we just didn't have "it" but we have the ability based on what I saw in the first game against Miami.

One thing that caught my eye about this year's roster is the lack of size. The two most intimidating people by height and weight stand in the net. Sure not like the old days, I hope this isn't a sign of what the team is moving towards but with the stupid rule changes and even worse officiating I guess this is what Hakstol has to do. Chage with the times or be left behind. I am going to miss being one of the most feared teams in the league and not having the refs put you in the box just for being so..... Rant over.

Looks like Lucia can't separate his disdain for UND from his role as the World Junior coach. Both Keaton and Gage are off the roster, but there are four gophers still on the roster most from any college (tied with Michigan).

Do you think Bjugstad will fly directly to Florida from Grand Rapids, jus tdont see him coming back. also wonder how much the boosters will be calling for Lucia's head? Of course there are a lot of reasons he won't be fired (roughly 2.5million reasons with Tubbys name on them).

I think there is something there as it pertains to Eades, we have not been the same this year especially at defense. In my mind Berry could be the reason, we have most of the same guys sans Blood as last year and it was our strength. How else could you explain it?

I know I read on here this summer that Dell had no choice but to leave if he wanted playing time, but I am sorry whoever thought that has been proven wrong. He maybe wasn't perfect but his consistency was better and he was solid this time of the year. He certainly didn't let in a softy EVERY game like the guys we got now. I would like to have seen where we would be at with him in the net right now.

Can I ask why some of guys are wearing their shoulder pads on the outside? Or not wearing a jersey? Also we're coaches present or just a captains practice?

Just some food for thought. Last year going into this same series (WI) on basically this same weekend we were ranked 18. We swept the Badgers and only lost two games the rest of the season until the NCAA semi's. Things can turn around for us!

Rocco and Gaudreau on the line are going to give team fits. Will be fun to watch.

How about goalies? We are good for a few years but after Clark graduates we need another guy to groom under Gothberg. Its tough recruiting goalies too early though as they develop later than the other positions.

Nobody has said it yet, but so far I am not impressed with what Barry brings to the table. Our defense has been worse than ever this year. When Guenzel joined the goofs he made an immediate positive impact. Expected the same from Barry although we were starting from a much better pace.

Anyone know if the games will be on TV (Comcast) in the Minneapolis metro area? Sometimes St. Cloud games would be on last year but it was every once in a while.

The key for both teams next year will be injuries. Yes, they are both deep but losing a high end talent guy or two down the stretch can be tough to overcome. The sophomore slump seems to hit the gophs pretty hard too. My hunch is Rau will not be as big of a factor next year.

Walski got married tonight at Arrowhead. My lucky sibling was there sitting behind Oshie. I am most jealous though because TJ had Lauren there with him. I am pretty sure I know which one I would be staring at .

Does anyone know what channel the games will be on in Minneapolis (Western Suburbs) with the announcement of FSN picking it up? I looked on Comcast website and scrolled through the stations but didn't see it listed. Sorry probably bonehead question just want to make sure I have it.

Parks just channeled Frattin, to score almost an identical goal that won the championship last year. Very nice!

Does anyone know if the team is already in Minneapolis? I think I feel their presence here in the city..... or it could be the Taco Bell I had for lunch.
