Smoggy Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 Jamal Webb got tourney MVP I missed who made the all tourney team. Quote
UNDsportsFANATIC Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 Does anyone know who they will play in the first round of the CIT? Quote
Smoggy Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 Does anyone know who they will play in the first round of the CIT? NCAA and NIT have to do there selections tomorrow. My guess is it's announced tomorrow evening. Quote
UNDsportsFANATIC Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 I know last year they pretty much announced it after the game Quote
UND92,96 Posted March 11, 2012 Author Posted March 11, 2012 Sounds like there may be a chance for UND to host a first round CIT game. According to a Tom Miller tweet, UND is at least pursuing it. Quote
Hayduke Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 Sounds like there may be a chance for UND to host a first round CIT game. According to a Tom Miller tweet, UND is at least pursuing it. Is the CIT owned by the NCAA? In other words, will the rules apply? No home games, etc...? Quote
FSSD Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 Great job for the mens team.... getting ready for the Big Sky Quote
Vegas_Sioux Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 I dont think its affilated with the NCAA i think its one of the reasons the NCAA wants to go to 96 teams, other people are taking the money they think they deserve. Quote
Hambone Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 Reading the game recap on cnnsi, the last paragraph makes me cringe: The game at the modern 7,000-seat Jones Convocation Center on the campus of Chicago State drew a crowd of about 150. Smoggy Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 Men will be playing at Drake on Tuesday or Wednesday according to the radio Quote
sioux2013 Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 UND really needs to get some production off the bench today, which essentially means Schuler and Antwi both need to score at least six points each. Anything received from the other bench players is gravy. You nailed that one. Schuler with 11 and Antwi with 6. The boost we needed. Quote
sioux2013 Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 I thought tonight was Huffs best game of the year. He was under control the entire game with 8 rebounds, 4 assists and only 1 turnover. He still got his 15 points with only 9 shots. That is what we need from him every game for us to grow as a TEAM and get better. Great job from all the men and lets get a few more wins in the CIT. Read more: http://sportsillustr...9#ixzz1om15BhG0 I do not understand why they had the tournament at a location that did not have a team eligible to play. Plus the schedule of women games in the evening and mens during the day seemed strange. Quote
gfhockey Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 Heard we were out bid by drake for the game. Oh well we will save some money. Bid was around 30 gs so we would have lost money. Team is bussing to drake as we speak. Quote
Cratter Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 Already busing them there? For a Tuesday or Wednesday game? Quote
82SiouxGuy Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 Already busing them there? For a Tuesday or Wednesday game? They were in Chicago. Why bother flying back to Grand Forks and then bus down to Des Moines? They usually like to travel the day before the game, and it's Spring Break Week anyway. Quote
