Matt Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 He would have had to sit out a year if he had transferred a year earlier . He graduated from UNC early and is working on his masters degree, which is why he is able to play this season. I thought you don't have to sit when you go from FBS to FCS? Quote
sioux24/7 Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 I thought you don't have to sit when you go from FBS to FCS? I'm pretty sure you are correct if you transfer with two years of eligibility left so if he would have transferred here last season I don't believe he would have had to sit. Quote
82SiouxGuy Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 I thought you don't have to sit when you go from FBS to FCS? Sorry, you are right. FBS to FCS is an exception to that rule. Quote

Shawn-O Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 I know we are in relatively good shape at WR but AJ Barker from the Gophers is available and it would be worth a phone call. He wants to stay close to home. Quote

geaux_sioux Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 He wouldn't even start. The only dropdown we need is at qb, or I guess at lb de dt db and rb for that matter Quote

sioux24/7 Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 He does look like a stud! I hope we start to recruit more defenders who are more passionate. Quote
geaux_sioux Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 He does look like a stud! I hope we start to recruit more defenders who are more passionate. Put him at OLB and you've got youself a qbs nightmare coming off the edge Quote
sioux24/7 Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 Just curious, do you guys think that we will be trying to get a QB in this class? I realize we offered Conor Rhoda but that's just one QB so I am wondering if we are not too worried about getting a QB in this class since we had three last class. Also if we could somehow pull in Jester Weah I would be absolutely thrilled! The kid looks like a stud but I don't think the odds are in our favor to get him. Quote
Dustin Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 Coach Muss' hometown Owatonna (MN) Huskies are playing for the state championship today. Possibly some recruiting avenues there. Quote

geaux_sioux Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 We need some guys on D to play like this guy I know we won't get any athletes of his caliber but we need guys with his type of passion. Today is the 5th year anniversary of Sean Taylor's murder. He is my favorite defensive player ever and was gone far too soon, taken in the prime of his life. Quote
