does fenton know or care that the summit is dead if any 2  of the 4 dak schools leave...

like dead dead..

but at least he made that sweet sweet deal with the mvfc conf so he will just move on over there and keep up the good work

imagine if fenton actually tried to create summit football with tsu and acu...but when west georgia and east georgia calling too...easy choice for acu and tsu i guess...

heck if um and msu would ever wanna do something different...if fenton could've gotten um and msu and idaho too...

MN State Makes sense for a ton of reasons even before the DU move.  I really don't like the idea of another D1 school in MN recruiting FB players though, so hopefully Pioneer.  I don't think Mankato moves though.

I was under the impression that Minnesota BOR or legislature or somebody atleast had a restriction on public universities in MN having D1 football. Same with Nebraska and why Omaha cut their FB program as they wanted the Huskers to be the star and not have in-state competition which could've affected attendance as well. That or purely financial as they do not want to fund additional D1 Football at the state level, even when they potentially could've been in a conference that isn't much different in geographical size than their current D2 conference.
