Hoping since he was helping to recruit Fitzhenry he stays around to play with him.  We haven’t had much luck with #9’s sticking around lately though, so hopefully we’re due to have one stay 3 years. If he helps us get #9, I will give him my blessing to leave early though!

Agreed.  Massive get for the coaching staff.  UMN fans really wanted him.

For next year, I'm guessing Williams & Fitzhenry come in for sure.  Sanderson prob too due to his age.
McKamey...we'll see how this season goes for him.  If he takes off, I could see him coming in 27/28...if not, wouldn't be shocked to see him the following fall instead.

Plenty of room still for the Ruck's.  That'd be one hell of a forward recruiting class.

I recall seeing something on a hockey podcast where he was pissed at Minnesota regarding their recruitment of Boeser, or lack thereof.

Don't quote me on this, but I seem to remember a story about how when he went on his visit there, Lucia made him wait in his car for some absurd amount of time. It was really bizarre

Brad's article on Fitzhenry was updated with quotes from Nolan and his old Shattuck coach.

This sounds awesome too: One scout told the Herald he's a Zach Parise-style winger, who scores around the net and plays in all situations. Another said he has a release comparable to Brock Boeser or Will Zellers.

Fitzhenry, Williams, and Klimpke almost certainly will be coming in next year. It certainly looks like there is a lot of flexibility to add and for current commits to play their way onto the team next year.

Herald didn't mention Fitzhenry's timeline to be on campus. EP & Valley News Live listed him as 28-29.

Don't care if I'm beating the horse for the millionth time....but, all UND hockey needs is some competence.  It didn't have competence at the helm.  We have competence and then some now.

This is true. 

Karl looks to be doing fine recruiting at St. Thomas. Maybe he was being micromanaged here when he was in charge of recruiting.

Some of the U18 NTDP guys play an extra year of juniors after their U18 year...but a lot of the top guys go straight to NCAA.
Guys like Berchild (DU) and Plante (UMD) both are going straight to NCAA this fall.  And neither of those two are expected to be drafted in the first round, let alone the top 10-15 like Fitzhenry is currently projected.
If Fitzhenry has a good U18 year, I would guess he'll be at UND for 27/28 season.  And an added bonus is that would give us an extra year of him in a UND sweater too...

Unless he has a pretty disappointing draft year, I’d expect him on campus in 2027. It’s not common for a guy of his caliber to defer enrollment
