I’m guessing he most likely won’t carve out an NHL role…he’ll play a ton of AHL hockey and European hockey. Which is great to be honest. Why not play another year? I get it though, players need to chase their dreams. Plus, do you run the risk of losing a good 2-4 year player. Not a lot of room beyond Panzer, Boisvert, Swanson, Littler and Croal. I assume Klee and Slipec will be out a few years. Leaving could be Johannes, Jamernik, Ness, and Albrecht. They said that scouts expected him to explode offensively this year and at the Hlinka and he didn’t. He’s above a PPG though so I wouldn’t say I’m concerned about his production.
