nodakvindy
I like the idea of playing in Roseau and even more importantly playing a tournament in Winnipeg. That is a smart move recruiting wise.
fightingsioux4life
At this rate, the Women's Hockey program will surpass the Men's Basketball program in overall strength and interest!
star2city
At this rate, the Women's Hockey program will surpass the Men's Basketball program in overall strength and interest! With the twins, average attendance for women's games should easily go over 1000. Would be interesting what a Top 5 UND team could draw for UMD, UM, and UW home games. Also, wonder if the any of the games will be televised on FCS.
UND85
I believe they will be announcing a new assistant for the womens program this afternoon. A former Sioux mens player is what I've heard.

siouxnami
So any news on the Canadian player that was weighing UND? Sounds like the team will be solid regardless, but it never hurts to add another of the best players in the world...

She decided to take her game to BU. I hope we spank them just for that reason alone.
Pony1976
Some WCHA team previews for 2010-2011 http://www.examiner.com/minnesota-golden-gophers-women-s-hockey-in-minneapolis/team-profile-bemidji-state-beavers http://www.examiner.com/minnesota-golden-gophers-women-s-hockey-in-minneapolis/team-profile-wisconsin-badgers The Badgers will be very strong. I don't see Bemidji being ahead of Ohio State or North Dakota in the WCHA standings for 2010-2011.

Let'sGoHawks!
Women's hockey: It's time for the twins It would be great if we could get lots of people out to the Ralph today and get the team off to a great start for the season. Just a little suggestion since this game is going to be on National TV: for those of us who make it lets sit in the lower rows of the west stands and behind the goals. It will make it look better on National TV! Excellent point. I think everyone should do that for sure. Maybe we get 1000 for this game? GO SIOUX! Beat BU!
