breakin face Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 Pardon my french but why in sam lickity are the playoffs starting the same date we have a regular season game? Doesn't make sense to this cat. I'm going to have to break the NCAA's face!!!!!!!!!! Quote
Hambone Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 Pardon my french but why in sam lickity are the playoffs starting the same date we have a regular season game? Doesn't make sense to this cat. I'm going to have to break the NCAA's face!!!!!!!!!! We agreed to the date with Central Arkansas because neither of us are eligible for the postseason, so it doesn't matter. Has nothing to do with the NCAA, and taking this game gives us a good home game in a couple of years when C Ark pays us back. Quote
GoAgs72 Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 I envy North Dakota having another game left. Put a fork in us - we are done at 6-5. I did post my first predictions for 2010 and I have North Dakota beating the Aggies just because of your home-field advantage. Quote

It is another week of practice for the team and they can start working on things for next year already. I hope that the UND game is avialable via webcast. GoAgs72 - Congrats on the Great West Championship - I hope that UND and UC Davis meet again next year for the title. Best of luck next year. Quote

UND92,96 Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 Richmond vs. SFA- Richmond Villanova vs. Southern Illinois- Villanova Finals: Richmond vs. Villanova- Richmond repeats! Whenever I see any reference to Villanova football, I always think of 2001--the season they somehow lost to dII New Haven, whereas we beat New Haven 42-10. I still don't know how an 8-3 FCS team featuring Brian Westbrook could possibly have lost to New Haven. I think Lennon will lead SIU to the championship game, although knocking off Richmond will be tough. Quote
jodcon Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 Nice to see SDSU make the playoffs. Be exciting for them playing in front of 28,000 fans at Montana, and the way that the Grizzlies have played at the level of their competition all year, good and bad, they might even hang in there for a while, although I'll be hoping for a big Griz win. I'd really be surprised to see the Griz go too far in the playoffs though, just haven't put 4 quarters together too often this year. Quote
firewall Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 Where can I find the start times and does anyone know which games will be televised or webcast? (Thanks) Quote

Call me crazy, but based on what I have seen from Montana on TV this year, I don't think they are that good. Now, watch them run the table. Quote
sprig Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 Where can I find the start times and does anyone know which games will be televised or webcast? (Thanks) For the Grizzlies, games will be on Galaxy 28(89W) for those with KU band systems. Video streaming looks to be on B2 Networks. Game time, 12:05PM Mountain. You'll find an audio stream above also. Gametracker Clicking on individual games will not only give you the gametracker, but also links to streamed audio or video (for those available on cbssports). jodcon Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 Montana came back with 34 points in the 4th quarter to beat SDSU 61-48 Jacks should have won, were ahead 48-21 towards the end of the third and started playing soft on the underneath routes, then couldn't stop the momentum and fell apart in the 4th. Typical weekly nightmare watching the Grizzlies for me. Quote
GeauxSioux Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 Montana came back with 34 points in the 4th quarter to beat SDSU 61-48 I'm in the Nelson Muntz camp on this one. Just not a fan of SDSU. Quote
mizzou/sioux Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 I feel for the Bunnies. After all, they are sort of a departed brethren in a sense. Not that I really have anything against Montana. But I would have liked to have seen a Dakota team advance in the playoffs. I think anytime a Dakota team advances in the playoffs it's good national recognition for the region. I felt the same way when the NDSU men's basketball team played superpower Kansas in men's basketball this past season. Maybe Montana's extensive playoff experience helped them in this showdown. Hope Dale Lennon's Southern Illinois Salukis go all the way now. Quote

UNDvince97-01 Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 Watching the SIU-William & Mary game. 3-0 SIU with 12 minutes left in the 1st. ESPN had "Dale Lemon's Keys To The Game" earlier. Quote
Shawn-O Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 3-0 End 1Q. Feels like SIU had much the better of it early, killed themselves with a couple key penalties. W&M has settled down and it's gonna be a close one I think. Quote
UNDvince97-01 Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 10-3 William & Mary at half. W&M defense really controlled the 2nd quarter. SIU offense sputtered enough to bring in their junior QB Dieker in late in the 2nd quarter. May have been planned all along since he was the original starter before getting hurt against Youngstown. Should be an interesting 2nd half. SIU defense will be tougher after half-time adjustments. Quote
