  1. Not funny --- even in jest. The Fargo V.A. does an amazing job for those of us who served.
  2. It amazes me the obsession that ndsu trolls have with UND. Especially when they constantly refer to UND as a non-rival. While at Oregon the interest by Oregon State trolls was nowhere near the obsession they have in Fargo. By the way, I noticed there is a huge UND footprint in Fargo just blocks away from the ndsu campus. It's UND medical teaching facility at the Fargo V.A. A huge UND banner on the west wall. Thank you UND for supporting our veterans.
  3. Keep in mind this was an individual who said forgery, voter and petition fraud was: "No big deal!"
  4. KFGO retweeted a blog by someone named Daniel Gunderson. Who is he and is he relevant to anything? He comes off like a whining know-it-all punk.
  5. The official beer of bison football: http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/29/111575/
  6. Given what is currently going on in Leith, ND it seemed very inappropriate.
  7. What was with the person holding the "I'm White" sign directly behind the ESPN people?
  8. Check out the police car video on the link below. His parents must be so proud. http://mobile.inforum.com/page/article/id/402976
  9. Interesting turn of events this morning on Heitkamp. He was ripping on Hakstol's salary compared to Bohl. Heitkamp, for whatever reason, has it in for Hakstol. And then his rant stopped cold turkey. I'm guessing something came across the wire regarding Beck and his praise of Bohl would immediately be compromised.
  10. Just a matter of time before they will begin attacking the messenger, Emily Welker, rather than address the issues. During the Vietnam era these type of low life individuals were given two choices: Jail or Military Service. In retrospect, not a bad plan.
  11. Bison Dan: Please don't lower yourself to using the word "Joke." It makes you sound like a clone of that idiot who works for FOX. You are above that.
  12. http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Why_is_North_Dakota_called_the_rough_rider_state "Peace Garden" is on our license plates and you are familiar with that because ----- oh that's right ---- never mind.
  13. Backpages: “UND, America’s Dakota University” two thumbs up, I like that. 'JohnboyND7 : All over North Dakota you see Lewis and Clark this and Lewis and Clark that signs. We call ourselves the “Roughrider State” yet Theodore Roosevelt was not from ND. Where did you take history? ---- oh wait ---- never mind.
  14. I was reading the posts on Bison Media on all the recent topics. There is a person who goes by something called the "Dakota Big Three" or something like that. This individual hijacks any blog, regardless of the topic, to UND bashing. At first I thought it was the usual smack talk. Now I am wondering if this individual has severe mental and emotional issues. Blog after blog turns into backhanded or outright slander of UND with outright innuendo, truth twisting and lies. This might be a stretch but given this persons vial and visceral hatred of UND could this be another individual with the same emotional balance of the perpetrators in Connecticut or Colorado?
  15. “I don’t think they were smart enough or grown up enough or sophisticated enough to understand” -- Judge Douglas Herman describing NDSU Bison football players. Ouch! That has got to sting.
  16. Fargo Forum Editorial: http://www.inforum.com/event/article/id/374481/group/Opinion/
  17. (The following was submitted to a Fargo radio station and BCC to me. Very poignant!) My fiancée died in a fire fight in Fallujah, Iraq. Remember the slogan: "Freedom on the March." Dennis sent home several photos of Iraq's with the ink on their finger indicating their pride in being able to vote. We fight wars and lose thousands of young men to guarantee that right to vote. Yet two measures will not be on the ballot due to the actions of some NDSU students. Yet Athletic Director Gene Taylor says: "It's not a big deal." What am I missing?
  18. They are really reeling over on Bville and the spin machine is in high gear.
  19. A 90-million dollar contract for a UND alum. Ouch, that must be hard to swallow in Fargo. I notice in the Fourm, so far, there is no mention of him being from UND.
  20. Should we be expecting an editorial and on line poll from Jeff Kolpack in the near future in regard to Sioux gear in Glyndon?
  21. I stand corrected. Thanks for the laugh. You just made my day!!! :D
  22. I made a stop at the Glyndon, MN Tesoro convenience store which is the front door of NDSU, MSUM, Concordia and MSTC on the Minnesota side. When you walk into the main door the first thing that greets you is a rack stuffed with UND Fighting Sioux hooded sweatshirts and regular sweatshirts. They are in that bright Kelly Green and have that beautiful Sioux logo. I asked the clerk about it and her answer was “demand!” She further stated this was the third re-order. Again, this is the front door of NDSU. Amazing!
  23. Ouch! That has got to be a punch in the gut for Gene Taylor. Never-the-less, a good laugh at this end.
  24. Have you heard the producer of the Mike McFeely show yesterday and again today. He is an NDSU supporter who has openly stated he will vote to keep the name and logo with the "intent of harming UND." Get a clue.
  25. Here is the answer to my question: Yes, petitions submitted to the Secretary of State’s office are “public records” under the North Dakota open records law. My office is now reviewing the petitions for sufficiency of signatures as required by N.D.C.C. § 16.1-01-09.1 (8) and N.D.C.C. § 16.1-01-10. It is very important for us to maintain the integrity of these petitions because they are the basis on which a measure is certified for placement on the ballot and, in some cases, may ultimately be necessary evidence in any court proceedings. Therefore, we are reluctant to allow a person to review the petitions unsupervised until our review is complete. However, by law, public records (such as these petitions) may be copied and provided to a requester upon payment of a fee. Under N.D.C.C. § 54-09-04(1), the Secretary of State’s office must charge 50 cents per page for copies. There are 603 petitions, each having three signatures pages. It is estimated the fee would be approximately $904.50 to provide a copy of each of the three signature pages in each petition. Under the open records law, N.D.C.C. § 44-04-18, a payment would be requested in advance before the copies are made. If you decide that you are interested in receiving copies of all, or some, of the petitions, please contact the Election Division at 328-4146 or at soselect@nd.gov . Al Jaeger Secretary of State Okay, the door is open if anyone, one side or the other, wants to know just who signed these petitions and where they are from. Specifically, I want to know who from Fargo is signing for no other reason other than to stick it to UND and see us dismissed from the Big Sky. I'm looking forward to some interesting reading. Thank you Secretary of State Jaeger for your answer. I had repeated requests to Fargo media, specifically Joel Heitkamp and Mike McFeely who, for whatever reasons, ignored my requests. I really want to know if Mr. Heitkamp is speaking out of both sides of his mouth.
