In general, most individual top plays aren't going to show your center court logo unless it's an end to end type thing. Having North Dakota on the ends would have been better if that's the goal.

I don't have a problem with the plan approved by every team that plays at the Betty. Get used to it. That's what the ice at the Ralph should look like as well. Only FH logo at the center. North Dakota should always be secondary to the logo, just like I'm sure you agree the Sioux logo should have always been first. Had REA just put North Dakota at center ice, and not the Sioux logo, would you have told everyone to "get used to it"?

It's actually nothing like that. Especially with a contract that says the REA is supposed to operate with the best interests of UND. I find it hilariously hypocritical, although not surprising, you call the people who actually play for the teams represented by the logo Snowflakes. It is apparent you're a child in this situation and are crying because it's not what you want.

The unfortunate thing about the Herald is that it can no longer be considered a source of objective information. And that's not good for a newspaper. They've dug their heels in and, at this point, many people will just assume bias in articles. The Herald has shown a consistency in bashing Kennedy, so it was a no-brainer for Engelstad to reach out to them. The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

I thought teams could only protect one goalie? So then everyone else would still have been exposed. Getting another goalie wouldn't have helped, it would have just made it so the Knights had two options (Fluery and Goalie B), in which they still would have taken Fleury.

If presidents are concerned about academics, potential students and etc, why would Loyola being good at basketball matter to the Big East? Wouldn't the BE presidents care more about Loyola's students and endowment rather than their basketball team?

Douple has never shown vision but has somehow kept that conference afloat through this situation several times. I don't trust him but I do trust the decision-makers at UND wouldn't just jump to the Summit without having a little forethought.

I don't think ND leaves the NCHC. HE was a horrible travel situation, and the B10 only eventually wanted them. The NCHC said no after the Irish made ridiculous demands and burned bridges. And at that point, if they do leave the NCHC would be $1M richer and have more schools begging to get in.

You're already making an all-star team that only plays at most, 3 random games 2+ months after they last played meaningful hockey and expecting that to decide a team in February? Yote53 included a player who didn't play a minute of Olympic hockey as someone who is "among the most impactful" on team USA but isn't even the best American defenseman on his college team. In today's culture, you can't take NCAA players for the whole year, but why not have tryouts in early December with college and non NHL pros included. They play exhibitions vs ncaa and European teams like the WJC team does. Keep those guys together for 2+ months, excluding cuts, and they're set for the Olympics having played 20+ games together. NCAA teams and leagues can adjust schedules a bit so it doesn't cause a major issue.

If the Golden Knights were smart, they would ask the NHL to schedule the Wild or Blackhawks on the 26th. Lots of UND fans would buy up those GK tickets.
