  1. I have a vague memory of us doing it against SCSU at St. Cloud when Kleinsasser played.
  2. He was looking but too many bad guys in the area.
  3. Funny thing is Sack City sign said 1. When I picked it up after the game the student running it told me that #97 from Drake came over when they sacked Tommy and tore the 0 off. He said - 'I didn't think I could go down and fight him or anything.'
  4. I was gonna add the same. Wish I could be a cotton top. Would need transplants
  5. Sorry if this has been discussed. I’m traveling and not connected very well. per Miller mailbag - talking about changes with Schwenzfier and Dosch - changes are going to be more about effective teaching and a positive culture. Should we read anything into the bolded part re: past D coordinator?
  6. Not sure it belongs here but I’m in Rome and was wearing a North Dakota hat tonight. A guy stops me and says Go Sioux. We’re everywhere
  7. True. No time to waste during buck pitchers. I did manage to consume tacos, grinders and cheese tostadas a few times before heading home late at night.
  8. And the Red Pepper had a restaurant in the Spud too.
  9. Way back in the day it was $1.00 pitchers at the Spud. $0.35 (35 centers) on Thursday nights. same sentiment about going back in time to relive that.
  10. I chatted with coach Kirkwood for a few minutes at the fb golf social on Sunday. He doesn't know me from Adam but took time to talk with me. Very personable and I'd guess is a good recruiter.
  11. A young woman that I coached in basketball was a freshman at Wisconsin about 12 years ago. She is about 6' tall and an athlete. Within a few days on campus they tried to recruit her for the rowing team. She declined.
  12. Not sure how much they need either but how about we start with getting the 52% of ticket revenue that REA takes and give it back to the fb program to use. The info below is from a Herald article from 2018 but I don't think anything has changed. I also believe Kennedy tried to change this and it's part of what got him in trouble with the KEM. Ticket revenues between UND and RE Arena Inc. are split, with RE Arena Inc. currently receiving 52 percent the revenues while UND receives the other 48 percent, according to the agreement.
  13. Is Zach Kraft part of the Pinky Kraft family tree?
  14. This is true. And we had great kickers for a long, long time.
  15. In hindsight the 53 yard fg attempt was wrong decision. At altitude it really shouldn’t have been an extreme attempt. In my experience you get about 10 more yards - so similar to 43 yds at home.
  16. I was at the game 2 nights ago. Left my seat right after Twins batted in 4th or 5th. Quick pit stop in bathroom, reasonable line to get hot dogs, down a few sections and another reasonable line for a couple beers. I missed 9 outs. Game moves fast now.
  17. Fennell probably the best. Stan Mikowas and Milson Jones also had great careers in cfl. Also had Doug Ploen and Jeff Jauch whose fathers were with the Bombers too.
  18. We used to be loaded with really good Canadian players in the 70's and 80's. Some of that had to do with the Blue Bombers having CFL rights to some players in their region and helping steer them to UND. I don't know the details of how that worked. They must still be out there. Not sure where they generally go to college now.
  19. The only disagreement I have with this post is that it would probably be a tie between you and a lot of us as to how much we dislike the Bison.
  20. Related to that - Nigel Pack, starting PG for Miami, transferred from K St for $800k in NIL money over 2 years. Miami's women's team has Cavinder twins who transferred from Fresno State. They get $851k each. Miami has a billionaire sugar daddy that is driving a lot of this. The $$$ played a big role in all of them deciding to transfer. It's all ridiculous but if they at least had to sit a year it would slow things down.
  21. McAndrew blowing up in the tourney. He had 28 the night I saw him in the regular season also. I'm guessing he'll go pretty high if he wants. Edit - he had 25 pts and 9 rebounds tonight in championship game.
  22. I would guess that they have a ton of money available. For the '22-23 school year their tuition and fees totaled over $50k. Most private schools in the area cost that much or more but I have always wondered what they do with all of that money. Tuition: $48,930 Fees: $1,436
  23. He hasn't been on here in a long time, unless I missed him.
