Have been wondering the same. Part of why he was playing was because other TEs injured. He sure looks like he belongs even as a freshman. Guessing they're trying to preserve redshirt but have no basis for that.

I was a kicker at UND. They do need to get out at halftime and get some reps in but no reason can't co-exist with the band. I wasn't paying close attention but I did see the punters kicking across the field toward the visitors bench to avoid the band. Kickers could just hit some shorter stuff until the band clears. Omaha had bleachers behind end zones when I played. It was before teams put up nets behind the goal posts. During pregame warmups I hit a college girl right in the face. I felt awful about it.

Wondering what happened to the garbage in the student lot last game. Usually when we drive out we go around that area because of all the cans, water bottles and other garbage on the ground. Last Saturday it was pretty clean. Guessing a crew came in cleaned up during the game or else the students miraculously found the garbage cans.
