anybody going to UNI? Just over 3 hours from Twin Cities. Looks like T is visitors section. Is that correct?

They tried this year but are missing 3 OL starters and Darrisaw was out for the first 2 games as well. Not sure they are elite but getting into the backups really takes a step backwards.

OL is a mess but he's made some really bad decisions too. Last offensive play of game he throws down the middle with 8 seconds left and no timeouts. Even if completed the time runs out. A few chances to throw the ball away today but ate it instead. He isn't the answer long term.

I thought about going with my dog for this game but tickets to bring dog were $51 for the dog and same for the person with them. love my dog but not for $102 for the novelty to bring him to an MLB game.

I told my kids that the money we set aside for them for college could be used anywhere as long as it wasn't NDSU. I'm sure they knew I would cave if they decided to there but they didn't test it. All three of them ended up at UND.

Just saying it sounds like a decision by Schmidt.

Reading this is sounds like maybe Schmidt doesn't want the distraction of encroaching on the teams prep until they run onto the field. At least that is what I get out of 'balance team focus on the game and production elements of the entrance'. He's more worried about how his team is getting mentally ready vs. the pregame experience for fans. He wouldn't be the first coach to think that way.

Looking forward to Hall of Fame weekend also. Footballers Kelly Howe and Randy Harles being inducted. I don't know Kelly personally but Randy is one of the best people you will ever meet. Soft spoken and a very nice guy but was an absolute beast on the field and really impacted the game. Well deserved.

OK. I'm finally ready to move on from the Montana game. Looking forward to a solid performance and big win. Go Hawks!!!!

Interesting bit on Carson I heard this morning. Reusse was on podcast and said Wentz is not exactly loved these days at NDSU based on the people he talked to. He said they asked him for $$ for new football facility but Reusse and Carson gave the exact same amount.

I am not sure what the truth is. I have seen multiple places that there was a rule change in 2013 that changed it so if under 3 seconds the spike runs out the clock - I think to take it out of the clock operators hands. NCAA Rule for Spiking the Ball Minimum time: Three seconds must be on the clock. Clock management: A legal spike stops the clock. Under three seconds: If there are fewer than three seconds on the clock, a spike is not a legal way to stop the clock. Instead, it's a normal play, and the clock will run out.

Today I learned that in NCAA fb, if you spike the ball with less than 3 seconds on clock the half will run out.

Really hurts is right. what we saw with Jerry is a qb playing his second high level game. Didn’t seem to easily find the underneath, middle of the field receivers or blew their doors off with high fastballs. Better with the long ball. Too bad he didn’t get meaningful reps last year. He’d be so much farther ahead. Also need to see more Ziebarth. Especially when trying to run out the game.

I guess we should let Bubba off the hook at some point. He wasn't within 1000 miles of Missoula and 10,000 miles from making any decisions in the game.

Just looked it up. Elrichs was 14-19 last year. with 1 of those being blocked. Pretty good numbers but he's struggling this year for sure.
