Difference for me last night was I really thought we could win for most of the game. Other years when we fell behind FBS teams in second half I just hoped they wouldn’t bust a couple long runs late and make the score a blowout. have to admit I wasn’t thinking good thoughts early in second half but they went away quickly.

Ran a E-T twist which left the D tackle on the edge and couldn’t contain the qb on the big scramble.

I didn’t bring that up. Only pointed out the convicted felon president we have …..this is fact too. Please tell me what Omar has to do with this tragedy other than a sick attempt to score political points. I don’t like her either but there are a lot of things that are true in this world that you didn’t state.

disagree. You stated that it’s in Ilhan Omar’s district. That is a fact but has no bearing on the story so why did you state that except to make cheap political points off a tragedy that killed two little kids? Similar would be to say it happened in a country that has a convicted felon as president. No bearing on the shooting but equally as true.

Expectations or not - how many games do you see us winning this year?

It’s true that kicking definitely needs to improve. Other aspects of ST have been pretty good overall. Also true - I am very glad that this message board and social media didn’t exist when I played at UND. I might have walked away. 😊

Anybody else remember the KO return TD that sparked the win over SU? I do.

Are you willing to give the new staff more than 9 months with no games played yet? They’ve had great recruiting success for 2026 but none of those kids will be on campus for a year. It will take more time, unfortunately. Wishing for us to have a qb that knocked everybody’s doors off in spring and fall camp won’t make it happen.

I did hear from a reliable source that UND fb has adopted an NIL payment approach similar to what some (or all) big schools do. 2% in spring 2% start of fall 96% after played in 5th game if still in good standing so can't threaten to quit, take redshirt and go somewhere else if don't get more $$. I remember a few FBS players have done that.

If we had a qb playing at the level of they guys you mention above I'm sure we'd lock into one. At this point we haven't had a qb take over as the obvious choice so we are where we are and will need to figure that out as the season goes on..

Also add in the walk-ons that play ahead of scholarship players. It's a bigger hill to climb but does happen all the time.

Agree. A few features on players but no camp updates after getting them mostly daily for a while.
