  1. Thanks for putting together this list. Will be great to track and see who we get to commit. Caleb Francois -Minnetonka has also been offered and has verbaled to Iowa St.
  2. I was wondering the same. We live in TC so didn’t go. I did get a questionnaire that I filled out. Some questions on how many games we used our spots and did I think those that use them all the time should get preference of some sort.
  3. Francois announced commitment to Iowa State.
  4. Anything new on Jamernik?
  5. Francois has picked up an offer from Iowa State.
  6. That is true of the commitments we got. I can't find the Wiki page but my memory is that we offered a lot of kids that committed elsewhere and we eventually ended up with a bunch of players with D2 offers.
  7. I disagree a little. My take is that we did offer a lot of higher end recruits but didn’t get many of them. Hopefully that changes with the new regime.
  8. Excellent news
  9. I have watched him play a lot of football and basketball. He is a great athlete and would be a very good addition. He was really good as a dual threat qb last fall and took them to the state finals but heard he might play a few different positions next fall. Would also be nice to build a recruiting connection to Minnetonka.
  10. Looks like he followed to WSU
  11. how do you ignore the cross checks to the head/neck behind other net right before rush for goal? as others said - he was being held down also.
  12. for a few seconds had a nice overhead shot of 1/2 the ice with only the goalie in the frame.
  13. I spent a year at St John's playing (sitting on bench) for Gagliardi way back in the day. You are correct in that they find a way to get their top athletes other scholarships since athletic scholarships are not allowed.
  14. I agree although it’s just one more step beyond walk-on's vs. scholarship players. The scholarship athletes always got/get first look.
  15. I think in that is right. He was a Minnetonka kid.
  16. Heard (2nd or 3rd hand) that the NIL money for our new QB was $50k. It's impressive that we have kind of NIL money to offer if true.
  17. I'm pretty much a 'don't let the door hit you in the arse' guy but I'd welcome him back. Local guy, great player and the landscape of college fb has changed so much lately that I think we need to get with the times and get better any way we can. And............I randomly connected with his family at tailgating 2 years ago and they always had a big party going and offered up great food and drinks to me.
  18. I thought I heard - ‘Refs you suck’
  19. Guessing some of them are with teams that are still playing.
  20. My take is that he now has experience at the highest level of college football. Hoping that he can parlay what he has learned and the connections he has made to put together a top staff and roster. Others had head coaching experience but not at the FCS level or above. It is a tradeoff and a bit of a crap shoot either way.
  21. Honest question. Why were you hesitant on the Schmidt hire?
  22. The student who ran the sack city sign for us the three years before this one was good friends with Q. Made his own Q shirt by drawing on a white tank top T. He even came back for senior day this year just for Q. I asked how he knew him and he said they lived next to each other and Q came over and introduced himself and is a helluva guy. They've been friends ever since.
  23. 1883 Collective posted these guys are back: Liam Becher Lance Rucker
