  1. Per Herald article: UND set record in 2025 with $119.5 million in gifts to UND. Previous record for 12 months was was $100.5 million announced in August 2024. A little strange in that they changed from FY to CY recently but both are for 12 month periods. Record endowment now at $510.7 million. Forever UND campaign upped goal of $500 million to $625 million after met the $500 million goal 20 months early. I wish we had been able to keep the Sioux nickname but it doesn't look like the change has exactly crippled fundraising. https://www.grandforksherald.com/news/local/drop-the-confetti-und-alumni-association-and-foundation-announces-new-fundraising-record?__vfz=medium%3Dsharebar
  2. Followed online. Stressful til end not knowing exactly what was happening.
  3. And you obviously aren’t earning on the money you withdrew. I had coworkers actually benefit from that as the market dropped during that time but that money was taken out. They did earn whatever interest rate they were paying themselves.
  4. I believe most 401ks already allow you to borrow against them for things like house down payments. Then you pay yourself back over time. I know mine does. Not exactly the same but works.
  5. DT signing I hadn't seen before https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/college/eastern-illinois-tackle-adds-size-to-unds-defensive-front?__vfz=medium%3Dsharebar
  6. I am a little confused by this thread. We are currently 4-2 in the conference and showing some signs of life even in the games we've lost. I know this is what message boards are for but there's at least a little hope that's been missing for a long time.
  7. Still haven't seen anything on Fleming.
  8. That is true. The question is will they start/play at the B1G school. If they can't cut it in the B1G they probably can't make it in the NFL anyway. All things being equal, they get a better look from playing in the B1G.
  9. The past is relevant. NDSU would be the standard bearer for NFL players and they have 11. I am surely not a pessimist but just because you say something over and over doesn't make it true. You also reprimanded me early in the fall because I dared to say that we were probably a couple of recruiting classes away from winning the MVFC. New regime and all that. News flash - we were very competitive but it didn't happen last fall
  10. ESPN lists Iowa with 29 players on NFL rosters this year. UND has 1 - Waletzko
  11. I don't live in GF and haven't been to the Betty for many years. I was familiar with the old setup but not what's changed. I believe they moved the stands on the end back but not sure. It wasn't great originally so can only imagine what it is like now. Can someone explain what they did?
  12. per what I'm reading that was the expected proposal. Not sure why it didn't get voted on and the 9 game redshirt rule did.
  13. Reading FBS coaches just voted unanimously to extend number of games played from 4 to 9 and keep redshirt. Not sure if applies to FCS if it passes.
  14. Not 100% sure that's true. I got to know his family a bit during his time at UND and didn't hear any rumblings of that. They were fully on board with him and UND football. It sounded like he was also considering coming back for last season which doesn't make sense if it was for a different major. I do think it had more to do with the old OL coach leaving vs. Danny but he did follow Danny.
  15. In my opinion a number of things about Danny leaving and his return are true at the same time. The fact that he left wasn't a huge deal to me but where he went and the position he left for says a lot. Danny 'bleeds green' but left for a lower position at a rival school and took a player or two with him. Looked to me like he was pouting cuz Bubba wasn't retiring fast enough. His offense at Wash St didn't have a great year and he wasn't offered to move with HC to Iowa St. He will be an improvement over our last OC.
  16. Sounds like the Antique or the Spud in the 80's. We almost had an all out brawl between guys from the football and hockey teams one night at the Antique. Fortunately if blew over.
  17. not looking to be snarky but I'd assume that OC has final say on play calling. The passing game coordinator generally develops the passing game routes, passing game plan, etc. and provides input but doesn't call plays. Reading online, that seems like the normal setup. Maybe they had a different arrangement
  18. more confirmation on Danny
  19. crazy finish to regulation. going to OT
  20. wasn't able to watch earlier. Announcers said ISU defensive changes turned the game. Do you know what they are doing differently?
  21. Tie game. 5 minutes left
  22. He posted pics with his kids during the season so guessing you are right and they lived in GF.
  23. Here’s Miller’s post.
  24. 2-10 last year. Enjoy.
