They must travel well and wildly. I tried to get a tailgating spot at Northern Arizona 8-10 years ago. Their ticket/game parking office told me they didn't allow tailgating by visiting teams. Said - you can thank the Montana fans for that. They apparently raised a lot of hell and left a big mess behind.

what I was saying as an engineer and science/data guy - too many KPIVs (Key Process Input Variables) have changed since last year to infer a correlation between this season's KPOV (Key Process Output Variable) or result QB decision and the change in one specific KPIV (head coaching change).

I don't think Bubba made the decision for Isaac last year. You keep beating that drum but if Simon is qb3, it still tells you nothing about last year's decision. Jerry was a RF last year and is a year further along in his development. JTJ wasn't even here.

Rudy had a thing against Mollberg. Not sure why. Told him he'd never be regular QB as long as he was the coordinator.

Simon just won't go away and is in the mix. I agree that we should have given Jerry more game time and we need much better QB play than we had last year.....but the narrative that there's no way Romfo was the top QB coming out of camp in 2024 appears to be overstated.

100% this. Any injury above 0 from figjting is too much. The coaches aren’t dumb and will shut it down soon if they haven’t already.

Per another post Tom Miller confirmed the fighting has gotten out of hand. You are right - plenty of injuries in football. It’s stupid to create more by fighting your teammates. My experience is that the fighting initiates from a guy that’s getting his arse kicked so has to find another way to show how tough he is. Stupid. Be a better fb player and don’t need to fight your teammates.

I’ve always thought practice fights are stupid because they can lead to injury. I only remember a few small skirmishes when I was at UND. The coaches can end it immediately if they want to. Hopefully they want to.

I found it interesting that freshman RB Charles Langama getting a few more carries and looks. I'm excited to see what he can do for us. Has unique elusive running style and was very good at Maple Grove.

I hope I'm wrong but I think it'll take a few more years before we are in position to win the conference. I expect a big step forward this year but until we get more of our high end recruits in house we may not be quite at that level.

Only two questions left - what is the parade route should we delay the fb parade and wait to combine it with the hockey one.

Also related - has Romfo recovered enough from shoulder surgery to be ready and compete for the position? Depending on the surgery it could bother him for a while.

I'm not sure that he'll be the starter on day 1 or at all this year but I know the coaches like him. Not sure if they rate him above the others but he's got a lot of potential.

Your point is correct but Angel Reese isn’t the right example. I’m not a fan of hers but she is having a solid season. Averaging 14 ppg and 12.6 rpg and even better over last 8-10 games. Also was an all star this year.

He sometimes watches Fall camp and gives some updates.

When Twins won in Detroit to win the ALCS in '87 we hurried to the dome for the homecoming. 50k people rushing through downtown to get in. I happened to be walking next to Ryan and quickly told him my story of having a $10 bet at 40:1 for Twins to win AL and how my friend turned down the chance to get in. $400 was a big deal for me back then. Not sure how he got my number but he called a couple of days later to get the whole story and wrote an article for the Herald.
