  1. Had a good grip on the jersey.
  2. Funny that Ziebarth is seeing so much action.
  3. Better than last year, but that isn’t saying much. Montana was shredding them, but they played them tough in the 2nd half. Other than that, I don’t think the competition gave us a good barometer.
  4. Let’s get one back and see what happens.
  5. So shouldn’t see him today then.
  6. Is Ziebarth hurt? If not, how did the person that shredded them last year, not see the field in the first two series?
  7. I think the O-line is going to have to be good, because of what happened last year running it down their throats, and the fact that they will want to make Romfo beat them through the air. I would assume they are focused on stopping the run, so if the O-line pushes them back this time, it will be pretty impressive.
  8. If they bid every other year, that might mean that one or the other bid for last year's West Regional, and they ended up putting it in a small arena in Missouri. I'm guessing they would avoid the Ralph at all costs unless they are forced with no other bids at all. Of course last year might have been an exception since they had one in Sioux Falls, and having them that close would be strange, but to me a super small arena could be considered a strange move too.
  9. With how many teams Augustana beat last year, UND should get a good feel for playing against a team that brings it every shift, with a bit more talent than we have seen with Manitoba.
  10. For recruiting purposes, we at least need to get our name back in the mix with the other schools from the exposure in the national tournament, and the Frozen Four to be more specific. If a league title and playoff title come in the process, that is an added bonus. We have seen too many one and dones in the Frozen Faceoff, which doesn't give us much momentum heading into the national tournament.
  11. Is that the ratio Timothy made in his NIL deal. Joking, Joking, not trying to blaspheme.
  12. Already pretty decent, as they were picked to finish first in the CCHA. Pretty fast ascension, and I imagine since they are recruiting in the Minneapolis area and are now moving to the NCHC, they will only get better.
  13. Hey, getting paid off in Vegas is always an iffy proposition!
  14. Depending on how the first 10 games go, they may need to be focusing on doing really well in the NCHC. On the other hand, they could really set themselves up well to be getting the young players a ton of experience in the NCHC games and not have to be ultra concerned about whether that will cost them a tournament bid.
  15. We owe them for sweeping us here a few years ago, so hopefully they repay the favor.
  16. Yeah, I haven't seen a consistently good offense to suggest anything yet. The second half against Montana showed the OC can make adjustments, but maybe he thought too much in the first half trying to throw the ball. A few losses or inexplicable play calls can change opinion in a hurry.
  17. Romfo definitely has to be better, as Schuster had 19 TD's and 5 interceptions last year, while Romfo has 4 TD's with 5 interceptions already. He obviously should be given a bit of grace since he isn't a veteran, but as a game manager, those numbers have to improve drastically.
  18. Definitely will need to take advantage of those wide open plays against better competition, because they won’t come around that often.
  19. It appears that Romfo has the same pedigree as his coach, doing just enough to keep his job.
  20. How can a non scholarship team have a field goal kicker that can convert beyond 50?
  21. Until they beat Cal Poly they hadn’t beaten a scholarship team in 4 years, so UND should be ready and not take them for granted. Let’s have a 2nd half like the Montana game.
  22. So we are copying the Montana game, where we don’t use Romfo’s running, which is why he is in the lineup. How about learning from our past mistakes.
  23. Don’t run on 3rd and 6 and settle for a field goal that is far from a guarantee. Must show the confidence they have in our passing attack.
  24. This team was 31% on 3rd down conversions, and now they can’t be stopped? Don’t revert to last years problem.
