I think just adding the game time to the other team scores would make a huge difference. I realized halfway through the season that I was irritated that the scores weren't updated for games that likely hadn't even started yet!

Yup, those two people on a message board have influenced the perception of an entire fan base.

I am not sure if I am completely in the Fire Jones camp, but I can say that I expect solid fundamentals from my favorite team. I don't see how a team can do ANYTHING in the national tourney (assuming they win the Big Sky tourney) if they can't rebound or box-out. These are things you learn in grade school!!!

When I visit ss.com I find a whole bunch of people who love UND and want the best for it...but have a whole lot of ideas on how to go about achieving it. Sure, some are super annoying and have terrible grammar, but you could say the same about members of my family, so there you go. Sometimes it helps to just take a deep breath, Brian. There is way too much good in the world that will pass you by if you don't appreciate it (including duckies and bunnies )!

There is a difference between believing that someone should be fired but acknowledging that it isn't likely to happen (at least on a short time frame). I personally would like to see some change in coaching (as do nearly everyone posting here), but I also understand that it will take a substantial amount of money to occur. Probably so much money that it is worth waiting until his contract runs out or he really messes up (his Big Sky runs have bought him some time over the years, unfortunately). That doesn't make me a Jones supporter. Also, I really wish you and others would stop with the duckies and bunnies line. It is essentially a backhand slap to fellow Sioux fans, and I think you are better than that. People are going to have different opinions than you...that's okay. They may even voice those differing opinions...again, totally okay. It's what make discussion boards more than just groupthink. And that's my thoughts on that. Happy holidays!

No, but if you offer a higher salary, you can attract more applicants and a better pool should yield a better coach. Head and assistant. I don't think anyone believes UND can poach a coach from another D 1 team.

You get what you pay for. I can't search on my phone for the actual numbers, but Jones is one of the lowest paid coaches in the Big Sky. So, should anyone be surprised by the products of his tenure?

Blech. I love my alma mater and its teams, but boy is this hard to watch.
