cberkas Posted March 30 Posted March 30 It cost $75 million in 1990 the whole Ritchie Center cost $85 million and finished in 1999. Already has two ice sheets. If done today $120 to $140 million (or estimate it on what the Eagles are trying to do in Greeley), also Denver don’t need it. 1 Quote

nodak651 Posted April 2 Posted April 2 I came accross this article and they talk about an ice climbing wall at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. I googled it, and there is a similar ice climbing wall in winnipeg, which doubles as a normal climbing wall during the summer. Something like this outside the wellness center would be pretty cool, and it would complement what they already have inside. 2 Quote

The Sicatoka Posted 3 hours ago Author Posted 3 hours ago Sounds like Osgood or Prairiewood in Fargo. That kind of course has its place. We all ain't @Oxbow6. 3 Quote

Seems fine for college students, imo. I liked golf when I was there but I never had the desire to golf Ray Richards. If I wan't a longer course I'm going a full track with 18... If I don't have the time for that then a par 34 becomes more appealing than a longer 9, imo. 1 Quote
Kab Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Wiley Nelson has a course and whatever he gets each hole is par i need that Quote

Laughable I don't see shortening Ray Richards changing the golf "landscape" in the Grand Forks area a whole lot. Two 9 hole courses that are shorter and absolutely perfect for plenty of people along with 2 public 18 hole courses (King's Walk and Valley in EGF) plus a private course. Fargo has four 18 hole courses (Edgewood and Rose Creek in Fargo and The Meadows and Village Green in Moorhead), two short 9 hole courses (Osgood, par 33 and Prairiewood, par 32) and a par 3 course (El Zagal) plus two privates. If you wanted to count Oxbow as a third private course, I guess you could if you wanted to extend out that far. Don't think I missed any of them. Roughly twice as many courses available for a population quite a bit bigger than 2x. Quote
