didn't say it has to be bigger...just a full bowl all the way around or an upper and lower...but you would think in these days that a true hoceky only facilaity for the big draw on campus would be a no brainer

It cost $75 million in 1990 the whole Ritchie Center cost $85 million and finished in 1999. Already has two ice sheets. If done today $120 to $140 million (or estimate it on what the Eagles are trying to do in Greeley), also Denver don’t need it.

Their issue is structural integrity of the roof with the rate they hang banners.

I came accross this article and they talk about an ice climbing wall at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.  I googled it, and there is a similar ice climbing wall in winnipeg, which doubles as a normal climbing wall during the summer.  Something like this outside the wellness center would be pretty cool, and it would complement what they already have inside.
