Reid has been rumored to Michigan for awhile. He's a left shot while DuPont is obviously a right shot, so it likely wouldn't sway him away from Michigan. If anything, it probably helps. Harper not committing to Michigan for 2026-27 means that DuPont has the spot open for him. Mews was their only right shot D last year, he got hurt, and that lack of (offensive) right shot D got exposed big time against Denver. DuPont then Mews or Mews then DuPont 1-2 punch on the right side could or would be deadly. 1 Quote

Was Michigan after him for next season? Or want him but for 27-28? Quote

There was talk that he may have wanted to play in the NCAA in his DY and Minnesota didn't think he was ready. His brother Brandt is still committed to Michigan, hence the natural smoke tying Levi to Michigan. We haven't heard anything regarding Levi's recruitment in a month, but it has been thought that he'll end up at Michigan, but would appear another year in Saginaw in the O before going to the NCAA in 2027-28 is most likely 1 Quote

I didn't realize his brother was already commited there. I was wondering if we would have any interest? Quote

IIRC, Harper was following North Dakota on IG last time I checked, but no clue how much or if (serious) interest is mutual Quote

Think he turns 18 during late September so that's why he's pushing to play this upcoming year in the NCAA would be my guess. He's one of the "older" 2027 draft elligibles Quote

cberkas Posted 19 hours ago Author Posted 19 hours ago They are in the top 2/3 for tv production in the NCHC so losing a way to get their product in the Twin Cities is short sighted by the AD. Maybe look at the fan experience in the arena and fix that. Quote

cberkas Posted 17 hours ago Author Posted 17 hours ago The NCHC needs to find a way to get on tv in Canada, like weekly game(s) on Sportsnet, TSN, or CBC. I know TSN carries NCAA hockey games here and there just need to have NCHC games on tv every weekend. College hockey needs to do the one thing they seem to not do well and that is getting the brand out there for people to see. 3 Quote

Good crowd with lots of Sioux fans in attendance; sight lines were good and you felt like you were right on top of the action. Pretty sure our group was able to buy beers/drinks at the game as well and the Husky fans around us were much more pleasant than your typical Gofer fan. 2 Quote

They probably fill the barn for UND, the Gophers, and maybe Duluth but they’re probably struggling to get butts in the seats for non-rivalry games against teams like my CC Tigers, Miami, Western, etc. But very cool you got to go see UND play there and that you had a good experience. The Herb Brooks Center is definitely on my bucket list. 1 Quote
