I honestly thought the stars were aligning, with the favorable bracket, all the glitz and glamour of a destination city, a city our benefactor helped build.  All the hype.  I don't think anyone thought we were losing this game, until we actually saw the product on the ice.  It stunk pretty bad.  Need some adjustments for next year, but there's a lot of pieces in place.

Hastings had his guys ready. They skated & forechecked so well. They earned it, hats off to em

Liver was awful.  The whole team played with no urgency.  Our seniors didn't show up.  We didn't deserve to win the game the way we played.

Jax mentioned this week that if it didn’t go their way but they played well they could live with it. Unfortunately, this one might sting them for a while.  Crappy way to end an otherwise  fantastic ride. Future is still bright.

Start the offseason with a serious evaluation of the powerplay.

UND looked like a team that didn't expect a hard forecheck. This was classic Minnesota State Hastings Hockey, but he has more talented grinders to work with.

Agreed our best players were not on. Simply put, we were too relaxed in the first and got out worked and buried. Passing was brutal for the entire game. Just brutal.

Michigan still 1-9 in Frozen Four games from 2000-present, but they have a chance to change some narratives in an hour
