Has there ever been a Frozen Four further west than Vegas? Also, since we will be playing in an NHL arena, there’s a good chance the ice will be nice 😊

The MSU coach called the Big Ten "the most challenging conference" yesterday.

That conference hasn't won a single NCAA title. Does he seriously believe that?

I saw that too. Was a little confusing.

Would agree with Michigan for football, but not hockey. Minnesota is at the top for hockey. Boston College's fanbase isn't quite big enough to earn a spot above Minnesota or others IMHO

After dealing with them in 2011 they are quite awful

If you view it from a non-ice level competitive perspective the statement does not sound crazy. Hockey is not important or even a sport for most B1G members. That is a totally opposite vibe from the NCHC and the UND perspective.

ice-level the B1G is not at the nchc level.

That’s what you say when another B10 team ends your season.

I assumed he meant it's the conferece that challenges the most referee calls. 😆

Not to get ahead of ourselves, but who do we want to see in the F4 on the other side of the bracket? Part of me would rather see Michigan instead of Duluth based one the last matchup we had with the dogs and I’d rather see Western given DU is a wagon rn. All four teams could give whoever wins the Wisconsin/UND a run for their money, but I just think this is slightly the easier route. It’s still a tough route, just slightly easier in comparison.

I'm pretty sure the hockey coach was talking about hockey when interviewed immediately after a hockey game.

Tend to agree, would take Western out of the remaining teams. But also something to be said that whichever of the four makes it, is the best team…even if we match up better with some.

I’m not putting a ton of stock in the last loss to Duluth, though - whether I’m coping or half the team was recovering from the flu or it was just a one off, I don’t hate our odds against them in a rematch after seeing the good guys bounce back in a big way this week.

Also, man was it nice seeing KV have a good game with plenty of ice time. Now let’s get Ollie back and win two more!

Who do you have from this lineup sit that played yesterday?
