I was very surprised to see this.

after 28 games starting she was releived of a starting spot the last 2 games of the year, why is this a shock, a coach who doesn't want you to enter the portal doesn't bench a player with 2 games left unless he's telling her yaaaa go ahead and get yourself in that portal, i mean let's be honest if you were a wbb player at UND and you started 28 games in a row were the radio stations player of the game multiple times throughout the season had multiple double double performances throughout the season then was benched the last 2 games, no would you sign yourself up for the dumpster fire again or would you wanna go somewhere you were wanted and valued as the player you are and as a human being instead of being told you aren't good enough??? pretty easy decision if you ask me

up until a year ago only power 5 schools scholarship  was gauranteed for 4 years meaning if you were asked to leave the team based on performance or playing time or any reason non disciplinary you could stay at the school under scholarship and they had to honor it, when rev share was implemented that rule was extended for all d1 basketball teams, so yes its very possible staying enrolled at UND under scholarship not on team!!! im surprised it doesn't happen more often but most poeple wanna play, so to answer your question yes her scholarship is protected as is every player's on the team that doesn't transfer

Thanks for the info.   I had no idea.

no forwards left, guessing 5 out offense principles had something to do with itScreenshot_20260418_160051_Instagram.thumb.jpg.4e2291efaa614b30b77c6de80d0dd715.jpg

We need a few more in the portal. I wonder if Hutter is pushing some of these out ? He should be

yeah because he's showed so much promise so far bringing in a d1 level player, he's lost every offer at that level to someone else

Why would you expect him to win recruiting battles when he’s (according to you) not officially the head coach?

interim head coach who has yet to be offered a contract to sign, had he signed said contract it would be immediately released by the schools media, no release no contract

So again, why are you blaming him for losing recruiting battles?

Just pointing out this is a UND fan site. You have had your time and made your points. It appears you could find a better use of your time.

According to an administrator in the athletic department n Hutter is under contract until April 30, 2029.

They said that in the paper when he was hired.  Not sure where that disgruntled parent is coming up with he isnt under contract.

Hopefully the disgruntled parent will get his daughter transferred to another school so he can switch his unhappiness to that school. We don’t need it here.

Hutter has a contract and he has the support of this administration. I made a point of having a discussion at the Frozen 4 with the gentleman who would know. Hutter has a good group of recruits coming in. He will be given time and the resources to improve this program

Your daughter could have been a key piece in turning things around, but only if you stayed away from her, her teammates, the coaches, other parents, fans, the Red Pepper, and slithered back under your rock.

After a little research, it seems that one of the parents at your daughter’s high school created so much turmoil for players, other parents, and school officials, that the school’s administrator (Superintendent?) resigned.
I wonder who that sick, perfidious, sorry excuse of a parent could have been???

Did their daughter transfer/leave from UND this spring?
