They finally worked out the issues and posted the 360 preseason podcast, which was recorded a few days into fall camp. Odd with the delay, wasn't super informative with information, since we know so much more now just with the daily updates. One thing that stood out to me with the 360 guys and Tom Miller has made a few comments along the way as well where you get the sense that this program has a bit of swagger for the first time. That has never been the case before. There're expectations of a top 5 team.

At this point, what good is it to ask Jerry that now. I'm sure he is trying to keep a positive mindset, new OC etc.. Could see asking him that at the end of last season, but think it's time to move on from that now.

Good article on Trace Thaden. Tom Miller also mentioned a while back that NFL scouts at practice were obviously eyeing Rucker, but Becher and Kamara as well. UND could potentially have multiple draft picks next spring if these guys stay the course.

Was refreshing to hear the QB sneak will be back this year…

He got a concussion about a cheap shot that was not called (was throwing up on the sidelines - a concussion side affect). His falling off started right after that - no coincidence.

The new UND insider 701 episode really shows the attention to detail in strength and conditioning as well as nutritional observation.  Very impressive.  Hopefully this pushes us over the top as a program.

I've been doing a little research on LIU based on last years games etc. and some discussion on the KU fb website their next opponent after UND.  They look to be a pretty solid FB team if game and score comparisons are any indication which of course can be a poor measurement.  They seemed to have pretty well dominated Eastern Michigan, but Eastern wasn't real strong. Eastern did play a MAC schedule and had some decent games so it's hard to tell.  I think LIU will be a very good test with a mobile QB, but our size on OL could be a big advantage.  I wouldn't go into this game too overconfident though.
