You just need to use it judiciously. I don't think anyone wishes we didn't get Pohlkamp last year. Would rather go that route than bring in a guy who isn't quite ready, and then gets ripped mercilessly when he can't produce, and is a defensive liability.

Look at Western -- Valente , Slukynsky and Arizona State -- Kirwan, Shlaine and Schimek just to name a few. Pohlkamp has been great for Denver this year too. 1

Western has a few more as well, including Drazner, Kramer, Rowe and Constantini, and let's not forget, while not a portal player, they made room for Alex Bump.

Wilbur Posted February 11 Posted February 11 Soller up to 63 points with Shattuck's 16U. Andover kid Fitzhenry with 78 points thus far in 45 games. Grubb (Minot) with 50 pts. All three Sophomores school wise. Another good player on that team is Bedoya. East coast kid that has committed to Yale I guess.

Sioux should be able to get Bedoya as UND is the Yale of the midwest. 2
