Who are we rooting for to win the National Championship.  It looks to me like a bunch of teams I'd like to see lose.  I thought I wanted Tarleton, but there arrogance this last week has really rubbed me the wrong way.  Hate the MT schools.  Tough to root for SD as that would leave us with only Dakota Team without a NC and would not be good for Recruiting.

I think I'm rooting for Villanova or UC Davis.

I'm rooting for either USD-+5500, Mt-+1600, or Mt St-+470 but only cuz i made some bets on all the Dakota and Mt teams winning it all over ndsu lol

Nova also will run 4th & 1 out of the shotgun, but it was not a QB keeper. 1st down to keep the drive alive.

and not a QB keeper that the opposing D coordinator has seen 20 times on film this season... speaking of, do we have a new OC yet?

Reminder the "local angle" is that Montana State Head Coach Brent Vigen is a North Dakota native, graduated from Central Valley High School, Buston, ND. Downside is he is a bison.

The Ruckers put the first beating on the Cowboys and Vilanova put the second. There's lots not to like about anything Texas.

Well deserved. Good riddance Tarleton … serves them right.

Is the silhouette of the State of Texas required on every college football team’s logo in Texas? Asking for a friend.

Tell me again how we lost to South Dakota!! 😱

It was somewhat flukey. SS had a ball pulled from his hands and returned for a TD and it steamrolled from there.

It was a very tough loss that turned the season around for UND … team didn’t look the same afterwards, at least offensively.

Montana is a way better team now then when we played them, but crazy how we controlled most of that game and then pissed it away. In the current FCS landscape, we are closer than most think.

Why do other teams "improve" while we regress? Injuries and depth or is it coaches lose creativity and become predictable?

With the past regime, it was usually the whole team that regressed. This year the defense did not regress, and when it struggled at the end it was due to depth and injuries. The offense did regress though and obviously needs to be addressed. Although we were playing better defenses which played a part in it as well.

The missed XP hurt and can’t keep happening, but there were so many more things in that game that contributed to that loss when looking back
