Listen to an interview of Sean Hogan, Director of CHI.  A question about a network like ESPN to carry a game of the week. CHI is working to partner with ESPN or NHL Network to grow TV media rights for college hockey, but each conference has their own TV media rights deal. Hogan said talks are taking place to get everyone on the same page about TV media rights or that is what I got from it.

Interesting that Mike Sneed has been working for a about a decade to get the NCAA legislation and work with the schools to get a team in the Spangler Cup. He said the coaching staff should be announced in the next few weeks.

Cupcake city. Plus, 7 of their 10 games are at home. Those could be Pairwise killers if they lose some of these.

McKenna is gonna be feasting on some cupcakes.  ;)
I would love for them to lose a few of them.  Including ASU to start the season to help out other NCHC teams.

If the cupcakes bite back, the B1G isn't going to be easy for them

The WHL commissioner sure likes to put his foot in his mouth with these NCAA vs CHL comments.

Most of the guys that will be making the jump to college are elite guys that are very young and looking to make a leap to the NHL in a year or two. Pumping iron and bulking up are the exact things they are looking for, not to mention the “little things” instruction they will be getting at practice rather than spending all the time playing games which may not help with some of the bad habits they might need to improve on.

How do I bet the farm against Minnesota? They lost everyone and brought in a D3 transfer. Bubble team at best right now.

Denver and Western Michigan look to be solid value bets considering Carle knows what he's doing & Ferschweiler continues to turn nobodies into dudes every year.

FOUR B1G teams with betting odds over the defending champs and a Denver team that seems to be a coin toss to win it all any given year, lately. Seems they’re taking Bucci’s advice on betting on whoever has the sauciest hands and knows where they keep the cookie jar? Not much love for the NCHC which just keeps winning it all.

Granted it’s hard not to like those top three, but same could be said for the last decade. Should make for an interesting year.

this seems to reflect where the betting money lives ... rather than a real probability of winning the title.

Agreed...BU and Michigan State seem more likely.  (and of course UND);)
