I was wrong with my original stat. Post Christmas she played 115 minutes and made 2 FG. 2/19 from the floor. She shot 10% from the floor. What are we even talking about??

McDermott would have played her more

She was so good she couldn’t play for the worst team in the league. #coachesfault amirite?

The entire roster was blah.

Did the best players really even play? Because it sounds like we were getting cakewalk by teams at open tryouts in the middle of the season

Played 216 minutes all year? Clearly when others from D3 play 5x - 1000+ minutes. She was not given a chance. Watch the tape.

Not to mention one of the best passer on the team. Was a wasted year for her to transfer here. Coach had his favorites for sure

Pass to who?  Last thing they need to worry about is a passer

So is this disastrous season down to a coach who spent more time advertising their culture in the offseason, simply being in over their head, or the realization that Grand Forks is the hardest place to recruit to in the Summit?

Go watch hockey.  Passing is very important in basketball.  If you didn't watch any games don't even comment

The "best" player on this team shot .364 FG % and .250 from 3. Had a T/O to A ratio of 1:1 for the season.

That's how you score 39 points in a loser-go-home conference tournament game.

They needed better passers to get her the ball though!

You obviously never played basketball.  Did you watch how she passed to the post for easy shots ?  Do you realize shooting percentage is better closer to the basketball then a 3 pointer ?

Did you forward this on to the staff, Coach Wooden?

I encourage anybody with access to watch SDSU right now.  Particularly look at their body types.  Those girls are big, long and built like they live in the gym.

What the hell are our coaches doing when it comes to recruiting?  Our team looks like a high school squad

Who also has another daughter that starts for Butler. Id say he probably knows a little about basketball and obviously you dont.   I have no daughter on the team and I could tell you there is some team chemistry issues.   You probably thought last years team was all sunshine and rainbows too until it blew up and everyone left.

wasn't the story that Mal met with the team and they all said they were staying and the next day seven went into the portal? Which pretty much put her out the door.

Maybe I don't remember it correctly, but i thought their was pressure on Mal to leave but she said she was staying, and the next day the players all jumped into the portal.
