Wondering if the coaching change will make high end CHLers a bit more hesitant to go to UND for the next year or two. Also, Carter Bear might not be fully healthy for much of if not all of 2025-26 with the partial Achilles tear.

Could go the other way if we get some guys to stay, Zellers produces, and we nail a portal guy or two. I personally don't believe we're far away. Maybe Jax is a spark?

He's also one of the worst "impact" forwarda at even strength we've had in years. Look at his stats 5 on 5 in his two seasons. Pretty wild. He's got work to do. Has the skill, but not sure he has that extra level of "want to"

He's a turnover machine; defend his one timer and he’s no threat.

I thought Canadians weren't eligible for NIL money?

Yes and no. Easiest way around it is funneling NIL money through a Canadian company or bank. No change in visa status, green card, etc. required.

He's got a hell of a one timer, for sure.  Only have ever seen him able to use it on the PP though when he has extra time/space.
He has good speed, but doesn't seem to get many points on the rush that I recall.

I still think that he could help this team as a JR and progress his abilities further, but if he goes the portal route I think it'll be a roster space that can be filled with a good CHL guy.

Berry must have absolutely sucked!!

Berry sucked but his assistants were good enough to be the head coach? I would never understand that logic

I remember not long ago, some folks on here were saying that Jayden Perron was proof that UND’s recruiting was as strong as anyone else’s.  My how times have changed.

Yep. Very unfortunate. Helluva player. Not sure he's taking that real next step.

That whole senior class (minus Berg) was a bit underwhelming unfortunately.

Yes, the fact that the freshmen and underclassmen led this team the second half while like you said the seniors were underwhelming gives me hope for growth.

Either he has a change of heart or if he already knows where he is going, he could wait until the last day to enter the portal...it wouldn't matter.

According to this forum he's gonna get $100k from Michigan...why aren't his effin' bags packed already?

Hopefully my generous donation to the 1883 Collective can help with that.  ;)
I'll tell Holth to route my cash directly to Sacha, Dylan, Jake, and Jayden.  Ha!

Well you might want to hold off on Jayden...
