Zellers is good…but it might take him a little bit. And I can tell you this, his game doesn’t translate to a dump and chase system. See Swanson…or Perron.

Again it will be different. Hoping Perron has a change of heart.

Yeah, I'm guessing no dump and chase next year.  New systems incoming.

We need more leaders in life.

I'm a firm believer that the fans make a huge difference in the success of college athletes. Lack of loud and boisterous support affects the way they play. Can't just cheer for the scores.

modern coaching believes in a possession game...if you have the puck you can score and can't be scored on.  Getting pucks deep and forechecking the hell out of the D is only when your group is gassed or you are disadvantaged in numbers or you don't think you can play a skill game against the competition.

Zellers is good, no doubt.

I just don't see it up and down the lineup.   Unless the roles were so completely jacked up by the coaching...

A change in leadership and attitude at the top could change everything. The team could become greater than the sum of its parts.

And our fans could feel the lack of consistency and energy in the team all season. Which dampened the atmosphere at REA.

Horses aren’t horses sometimes, until they become the horses.  Would people have called Bump the horse of the league a year ago? What about Frattin, Malone, & Caggiula?

I think we all saw what was coming with Frattin (minus the lawnmower tossing) and Jewels...Pony was a nice surprise.

The portal has programs horse trading old nags...they can do the work, but nobody is excited looking at them...

Wood was a nice get for Minnesota despite his 2nd half of the season being underwhelming. Although I think he approached Motzko more than anything, he wanted to go there since his dad was a Gophers women's assistant back in the day.

Collin Graf was a nice get for Quinnipiac out of Union back in 2022.

His dad was definitely pulling the strings there.

I’d be ok with Herter. May be my second choice after Raboin. He was there for Duluth’s success and now at WMich with their success. UND alum.
