Are you talking about this?

That is only conference games

Also from the website:

Thank you all. I want to clarify that the schedule I was referring to is the one with the hotlinks for the video feeds. I still have not heard back from NCHC.tv, and the hotlinks have now disappeared from the schedule entirely. I assume the schedule is still under construction. The attached picture shows the schedule I am referring to.

It's going to be interesting to see how Jax manages a much different roster.

It's one thing to construct an excellent roster like he did this summer, it's another to have every player buy-in & play like champions. Time will tell if he can pull a Ferschweiler. Can't imagine it being anywhere near as dysfunctional as it was last year -- the talent is deeper & a few guys have taken their uninspiring play elsewhere -- so there's optimism.

I do remember. Poor defensive play and structure. You can’t score goals, spending half of the game in your own end. Off your meds?

I’ve yet to see a game where the team scoring the most goals lost. But I’ve seen many games where the team with the most “structure” didn’t win.

Can you 2 just argue in your DMs, please? Thanks in advance :D

This is a big test for UND and a test they can't fail right out the shoot.

Hopefully we out-structure them. 😉

Someone help me out here is many of you have more expertise than me.  But is western going to be that good again I would bet money in mich state and Penn state being 1 and 2.  And I think UND is top 10.  Thoughts

I think putting WMU at number one was more of a ceremonial placement to honor them for what they did last year. I do expect WMU to be 1 or 2 in conference this season. Pre season polls are all based on subjective talent and doesn’t tie in the element of how well the team works together. We will see how they do. Hopefully good :)

On one hand, we have a new coach and lost a potential Hobey candidate in the portal. On the other, our incoming class is deep and well-rounded. Behind tOSU and UMass seems questionable.

Maine and UConn have to prove they weren't flukes. Michigan isn't top 10. I hope we sweep the Gophers and they end up top 10.

Michigan's goaltending has a combined NCAA games played of 1.

Ivankovic isn’t a sure thing either from what I’ve heard. He’s played well in the big international events but in the regular season he wasn’t exactly setting the world on fire

Student section should be rowdy this year. Tickets went on sale for seniors last night and sold out within minutes. I know they cap it at a certain amount though.

I sure hope so. They are honestly a disappointing student section IMO.

Order is a little off for me, but this is a nice article that breaks down a lot of what other teams lost (and gained) this offseason:

https://www.echlocker.com/blog/ech-preseason-top-20-rankings

He has UND at #13.

The Fighting Hawks have one of, if not the best, defensive corps in the country this season which features a first-round pick (EJ Emery), the potential second-overall pick in next year’s NHL Draft (Keaton Verhoeff), two players who averaged 22:54+ time on ice/game last year (Livanavage and Wiebe), and will get back graduate senior Bennett Zmolek, who posted 91 blocked shots two seasons ago before missing most of last season with a hip injury. Add in another first-round pick from the CHL in Cole Reschny and the USHL Player of the Year in Will Zellers, and NoDak will once again reload instead of rebuild heading into 2025.

Seniors get a large portion of the allotment. Good to hear they sold out
