Wilbur Posted Sunday at 04:06 AM Posted Sunday at 04:06 AM Kind of had a feeling it would be a best of 5 against the Mavs. After putting ourselves on the brink, we put together another questionable performance and now play for the season in Omaha. They as well are playing for their lives. I'd assume TJ until the season ends. Maybe Littler next weekend? Team needs 4 wins to make it to Fargo. I'd very much put that in the unlikely category. Baxter a better place to play than Magness. I'll say Mavs in 3. Quote
brianvf Posted Sunday at 04:08 AM Posted Sunday at 04:08 AM Maybe UNO used up all their goals in that slaughter tonight. Quote
cberkas Posted Sunday at 04:11 AM Posted Sunday at 04:11 AM Best bet it goes 3 but, if Omaha wins game one it will be a sweep. Obviously they will wear the black jerseys since that is the jersey they have been going with on the road. Quote

fightingsioux4life Posted Sunday at 05:02 AM Posted Sunday at 05:02 AM Omaha in two. Get this season over with. Make a change at the top. This mediocrity must not be allowed to continue. 1 Quote
brianvf Posted Sunday at 05:39 AM Posted Sunday at 05:39 AM I didn't see the injury to MacDonald...from Berry's comment was it a head hit? Quote A big concern is the mounting injuries on defense. UND played the weekend without its top two right-shot defensemen in Bennett Zmolek (season-ending) and E.J. Emery (week to week). Then, Caleb MacDonald left the game with an apparent upper-body injury in the third period and did not return. "Obviously, they're going to go through all the diagnostics here to see where he's at," Berry said. "But I talked to him and he was coherent and he was good." Quote
Siouxdaddy Posted Sunday at 06:18 AM Posted Sunday at 06:18 AM anyone else just ready for the season to be done? like I’m giving Berry one more year. he has seen everything. if he can’t assemble an offense next year he’s done. no reason we can’t keep this D core in tact 1 2 Quote
Popular Post rochsioux Posted Sunday at 06:35 AM Popular Post Posted Sunday at 06:35 AM We are questioning if UND can win a best of three series against a team that is 27th in the Pairwise. That’s pretty much all you need to know about the state of the program. Pathetic and unacceptable. 8 Quote
TwamleyShuffle Posted Sunday at 08:33 AM Posted Sunday at 08:33 AM I think we win at least one, maybe two games on the road. We’ve played better on the road this season Quote
Oxbow6 Posted Sunday at 12:22 PM Posted Sunday at 12:22 PM My last tee time in the desert is next Sunday morning. I'll be sure to leave my sticks for any of the boys that need them the following weekend. Four of six....enough said. Quote
SIOUXELEVENS Posted Sunday at 01:29 PM Posted Sunday at 01:29 PM Not sure if this team or more importantly the coaching staff knows how to win big games. History shows except Berrys first year his teams do not play well in big games. At the end of the day they are who they are. #culture 1 1 Quote
siouxweet Posted Sunday at 01:45 PM Posted Sunday at 01:45 PM Omaha in 3 and finally this season is put out of its misery. Berry will end up staying but one of the assistants is gone as someone's head will need to roll and it won't be Berry’s. Quote
Wilbur Posted Sunday at 02:42 PM Author Posted Sunday at 02:42 PM After reading the Herald this morning I feel a lot better about where things are going. All Bubbs had to say was "We are going to play with passion and conviction." Don't sell those Fargo region tickets just yet folks! Quote
MafiaMan Posted Sunday at 02:57 PM Posted Sunday at 02:57 PM Berry’s teams now just toy with your emotions these days. Just enough of a tease to get you to think the turnaround will happen… UND in 3 to get the fans excited about the trip to the X…only to see them give up 4 in the first period in the semifinal en route to a 6 or 7 to 1 season-ending loss. 1 Quote

Oxbow6 Posted Sunday at 06:07 PM Posted Sunday at 06:07 PM If this team had the offensive punch the Spuds showed at the X I'd say they win this series but they don't so they won't. Quote

rochsioux Posted Sunday at 07:57 PM Posted Sunday at 07:57 PM In a down year for the NCHC we couldn’t even get home ice for the first round. Very disappointing season. 3 Quote

Heck, he even took Geno with to Tampa in case somebody needed to do some coaching. Quote

Even if UND were to win you would have to think the attendance will still be down as are UND fans going to watch them play one game and get boat raced by Western? 1 Quote

Yeah for sure. Maybe local UND fans would head out to watch the Bump-led takedown of UND in game 1. Not many traveling from ND to watch that I would imagine. Quote
