I remember when I was excited on game day because there seemed to be consequence to games.   Regardless of what UND does this weekend, they will need to run the table in the playoffs anyway.  I suppose home ice would be a big factor as to whether they could do that or not, although this year playing at home hasn't been an advantage anyway.

Plenty of Consequences the next 2 weekends.  Split this weekend and sweep next we have a decent shot at the 3 seed.  As the 3 Seed, if we get out of the 1st round we are more than likely playing ASU in the Semi's.  Path to the NCHC tourney Championship much easier with at least a split this weekend.

Pretty sure I read that if UND wins the next 7 and loses the championship game(a long shot I know), they get an at large bid in 65% of the remaining scenarios.  So I'd say there's still consequence especially when you consider what Big Green laid out as well.  That and this team needs to be firing on all cylinders and playing good hockey with confidence if they want a prayer of running the table in St Paul.
