When I think of divers, Jacob Cepis always comes up first in my mind.

I remember that guy, C-Piss, he was a real bute, too.

At the Final Five one year a group of fans had the Diver Down flag in the stands with  "Dive, Robbie Dive" written on it.

Was that at the Target Center? That was a long time ago.

Ah, so it's only convenient when you're protecting your blog credentials with the program...got it. :hypocrite:

Nope, it was at the X.  (Earl was at UW 2003-2006; the Final Five was at Target Center 1999 and 2000)  It was likely the 2006 Final Five; UND played Sconny in the Friday afternoon semi's and I was definitely there.  Sioux won 4-3.

It all runs together after 20-25 years.

Ha, forgot I had it...have not taken the time to look to see if the Diver Down flag made the broadcast.

I remember being at that game.
Kaip picked the perfect time to score his first 2 goals of the season!
And you forget how lethal Duncan's wrister was...

Home split vs Colorado College…what time is the ticker-tape parade down University Avenue in Grand Forks today?

It’s just about gotten to that with the FB folks.

Man, that was a loaded team!

The WCHA in general was loaded that year.  Was a great era of college hockey.  Still hard to fathom we didn't win it all with that roster.

Yeah, I believe this was the year the Badgers got to play a regional in Green Bay and then the Frozen Four was in Milwaukee.  They didn't have to leave Wisconsin en route to a National Championship.

I'd bet he means Robbie Earl.

Oh my, had Earl in my head and then I got thinking about real injuries and then Robbie morphed in my head to incorrectly put in Bina.  Thanks for catching that.  Turning 70, easier now to make those dumb mistakes.

Ahh, the good old days of when UND actually did well in the post season conference tournament.
