'On X when you click on a player's profile, it tells you how many people who you also follow, follow this person. It could be UND coaches, media, fan accounts, other players that have been offered. I do think there's a correlation with the large the #, the more interest. On the flip side, there are guys who have been offered that have a very low number. I think you could effectively cross those guys off as viable targets. Also, if there's a commitment, look for a spike and that's the guy. Here's the current Top 12.'

So who was it? I feel like it has been taking longer this year to find out the player after the coaches make an announcement. Maybe I'm just impatient.

Seems they are letting the kid's announce themselves on their own timetable

It is against NCAA policy for a coach to announce or comment about a commitment until the athlete has announced his intentions.  That is a good rule - the athlete should have that ability to make that announcement when he/she wants it made public.

I get the rule ... it just seems like the name used to work its way into the forums quicker. Again ... maybe I'm just impatient.

I do not. 

However I have deduced from the Internet and believe there's a Nebraska HS kid in this week for a visit with an imminent decision looming.

We shall see what happens.

This is awesome. I’m sure this isn’t accurate but feels like we have already won more head to head battles against the xDSUs under Schmidt than we did under Bubba. For sure getting them at a higher clip.
