If players had stayed how many more games would have been wins?

If Omot and Ihenacho are here and healthy, we’d be a top 3 team for sure. No doubt in my mind.

If Omot and Ihenacho are here that means no Mier, and not sure about Woodson and Reggie if they would’ve came.

Just for context, I would rather have BJ and Ihenacho

Also Mara and Mayar would be in much different roles. Who knows if they would’ve stayed. Omot has been hurt the entire year. Too many what ifs

Then you would have to assume NDSU, SDSU and Omaha all kept their stars as well.  This is college sports now with the portal.  We are no different then the other schools in the summit.  Ihenacho has contributed very little to a bad Washington team.  I dont know we are at the top of the league still if we kept our stars.  Bottom line is Sather hasnt been able to keep up with the other teams in the league.

You’re right. And it’s all butterfly effect type talk. I’m still confident they’d be top half of the league. But that’s all hypothetical and doesn’t actually matter.

Agreed. You can’t say what if we still had so and so. What if ndsu was rolling out Moni, Nelson, and Morgan? What if SDSU was rolling out Mayo, Kyle, and Cluff? What if Omaha, the conference champion, still had Frankie?

More posts on a supposed new head coach than on the summit tourney tomorrow

Easy to have a lot of posts on a subject when a person has several nicknames.

How is omot and Tyree soing

You spelled sewing wrong.
Omot  is taking it pass-fail and is passing,  and Tyree has a solid A.

UND men’s basketball is in a tough situation. Facilities and dollars for staff (and players now with NIL) just aren’t there for this to be an attractive job. With that said, you still need to look at whether or not you can improve coaching to better compensate for the deficiencies, some of which you can’t control (e.g., location).

I think it is time to part ways with Sather, especially since UND will likely be parting ways (unintentionally) with Eaglestaff also. Time to see what a new coach can do for UND MBB. Now, will UND leadership actually do their job and make the move? Probably not - I have little faith, despite how well the transition to Coach Schmidt for football has gone thus far.

Probably more appropriate in this thread.

Including non-D1 wins, which there are many, 69-108 in the past six seasons..

I think the tally is at 73-1115 (38%) in six years. Gotta think around 20 of those wins were non D1.

Solid A as in good ?  He is averaging 11 minutes less per game . Shooting 13% from 3. Averaging 3 points a game down 12 from und. Not sure that gets a A. Unless you mean A for getting a bag. Then yes he gets a A. And if you were trying to be funny with sewing that was a miss.

Wasn’t GF Hockey asking about their sewing class. Gosh, I must have misunderstood. Tyree has an A in sewing class.  Omot taking his sewing class pass fail.
