...and somewhere Kirk Heibstreit is crafting some lame excuse filled Bama/SEC tweet he'll post on X with picture of his dog of course.

In person these Penn State guys are Way bigger than Boise. I'd say the disparity is similar to when I watched UND play Boise St.

We are way closer in size to NDSU and SDSU than Boise St. is to Penn State. I don't think it comes across on TV but is Boise is tiny compared to these guys.  Hanging in there though!

I’ve always enjoyed watching games at University of Phoenix / State Farm Stadium. Natural grass indoors is always a nice touch.

What you’re mentioning is the difference between what BIG 10 and Mountain West money can buy.

 Enjoy the ball game.

Texas had a very soft schedule, best win in retrospect was Michigan. Somehow the poor strength of schedule argument didn't seem to apply their like it did with Indiana or Boise.

Gotta be a target on texas there.  Wow, might as well not even have the rule. As bad as the obvious offensive interference call that was missed in the Penn St game. Officiating a big problem.

It is also a good example of a better team, not putting a team away, can put themselves in a dog fight when the other team starts to believe they can win in the second half.

You would think ASU would be up big just looking at the stats. Huge advantage in yards, plays ran, and time of possession.

I thought that was as obvious of targeting as there ever will be.

Texas offense did not do too much for the game, both soft play from Texas O-line and the aggressiveness of ASU. Texas D made several huge stops. ASU was close to breaking when Texas had a 16 point lead. The HB pass changed that momentum Big Time.

Clear targeting but I was not surprised they didn’t call it late in a tight big game. If that was the first quarter I bet they call it.
