He isn't well liked amongst his peers from what I've been told. I personally think we would be a great fit.

I’ve heard similar, but I’ve also been to his practices and been invited to sit in on team and position meetings. He’s a great teacher, scaffolded what they covered in team meetings to position meetings to practice Indy sessions to team sessions as good as I’ve seen anyone do. Cares about his players and is more than welcoming to high school coaches.  He may rub peers the wrong way at times, but my experience with him around his team and staff was more than enough for me to believe he’s a good candidate.  In my eyes it would depend on his interest in the job and if his vision aligns with what UND’s vision and commitment is to the football program.

And one that’s been with him for his entire tenure and swears by him. Another one that had been with him his entire tenure and only recently left because the D1 travel was too much for his work schedule.

I voted for Bolte, but Caruso seems like a fine pick.  So does Woodley, who was not presented as an option in the poll.

Curious as to why you feel that way about Fruechte? I have no experience with him, wondering what your experience has been to make you feel that way.

I would say coaching experience is mostly all lower level. No real NIL experience. But does have a lot of connections from playing days and being from MN.
