Passing to TEs seemed to drift away as the season progressed and the offense regressed. It was such a breath of fresh air to see our TEs so involved in the passing game early on…something a lot of us have wanted/needed to see for years, but it felt short-lived. It was definitely front-loaded. The offense fell apart the second half of the season and it hurt. The fact that they won a playoff game was completely on the defense and what Schmidt brought here. Here’s to hoping Schmidt makes the all important tough decisions yesterday/today to move the offense and ultimately the team forward. Quote
Popular Post forksandspoons Posted December 8 Popular Post Posted December 8 Shoutout to the seniors from this year! Can’t get to them all but wanted to mention a few McNeal: one of the best leaders we’ve had in a long time; bleeds green and is an outstanding young man Anderson: extremely reliable; played a ton of football for UND and was one of the best graded fcs tackles all season Lewis: my personal favorite. A home run portal guy who was everywhere on the field and seemed to be the best tackler on the field. Wiltshire: another absolute home run. He’s the definition of JYD. Will be very hard to replace a guy like him Martin: really good addition a couple years ago, clearly was playing through pain and gutted it out Scott: really wish his career didn’t end with an injury Nate D : really improved this offseason, a leader, and a really good blocker as well Z: another guy who bleeds green and should have gotten twice as many carries in every game he played this year. Averaged over 7 YPC this year only to get 5 carries in his last game a lot of other guys not mentioned, but left a mark as hopefully the first building block team for the start of something very special! 10 Quote

HC is also DC. Asst HC is TEs, ... not the OC or STC. https://fightinghawks.com/sports/football/coaches Quote

LDL Posted December 8 Posted December 8 (edited) No. I just went to the fightinghawks.com football stats page. they very well could have been front loaded. (I should have mentioned I am responding to MadScout03. Edited December 8 by LDL forgot to add something Quote

Samuels-Parker, Keneth, Terry, Simon and Grant Romfo, Walker, and Neuberger all seniors. I think I also missed a few but all of these guys you listed, and these seniors were part of making us a better team. Some played quite a bit, others pushed the starters to get better. Neuberger, the long snapper should get some NFL tryouts. He had an outstanding career here (which is why most fans don’t know who he is). 4 Quote

I learned at the HOF weekend that Grant Noland is grandson of Terry Noland who was D Coordinator at UND 1980-83 and then had a long successful career as HC at Central Missouri . Their fb office complex is named for Terry. Terry was well liked and charismatic at UND and very good coach. 1 Quote
