UND Football Fan Posted September 14 Share Posted September 14 Lots of positives, once again many FBS transfers does not necessarily equate to instant success. Concerning of the inconsistent running game but ISU is hell bent to stop run especially between tackles. Need to go more outside zone or jet seeps, we had success with that. Passing game is looking more diverse which is good. Need to score first drive and then we can sub more on offense…defensively I would guess we will be more conservative with big lead and make them earn a long drive to shorten the game. One thing that helps us is ISU is a quick pass team. Our DBs have played well in that aspect this year, its the longer throws over the top that have burned UND, but ISU does not have a good enough OL to give their QB time for those to develop. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
