Well..... here we are again.

Lots of questions, lots of off season.

Might as well start it off.

The quest for 9 continues.

Who leaves who stays... are we portal shoppers or suppliers?

Not expecting anything other than more of the same.  We'll supposedly bring in a couple of talented freshmen, but it will be fleshed out by more mediocre transfer portal talent, and we'll get out-skilled in the tourney if we make it.

I'd like to think he'd be smart enough to stick around another year, but who knows with kids these days.
He sure got knocked off the puck easy at times (this game and all year).
Another year of strength conditioning could do wonders.

It's going to be almost ten years since our last Frozen Four when the 2025 NCAA tournament starts.

I don't know how we do it, but the play late in the season the last few years....holy man...

Maybe some consistency in the lines.  Start there?

Hope he sticks around for 1 more year. Some good talent coming in next season.

Right?  Something was off with Gaber for a bit.  Def wasn't playing like himself.

Had to be hurt. I literally saw him get knocked to the ice like 7 times tonight. He’s a shell of himself.

When the forward lines were all changed for the Michigan game it really made me nervous. It seems like a weird time of the year to be shuffling forward lines.

He looked slow. Like I don’t think he’s the fastest guy, but he just looked slower than he usually is.

Agreed, he’s a possession guy. For a tiny dude, he can hold onto pucks so well. Haven’t seen that guy for awhile.

Might be absolutely nothing but after the Miami game when they were interviewing him on the ice one of his hands was wrapped in a bandage or something.   Again could be nothing.

If they decide to get another goalie from the portal get one that isn't a one-year rental.

I think we see Benoit and Komzak to the portal.

The Potential for Blake to put on man muscle and refine skills, focus on his mental game and play with a dynamic Mac Swanson and others are all very good reasons to return.

Maybe some of our players who didn’t see enough ice time for me to learn their names go to the portal. 

Next years incoming class has potential to be special. Plus if all our incoming juniors take a step forward I think we can expect a lot. Also, we are hosting the regional next year.

That seems to be Berry’s way at reacting to losses. Which might not be the best idea

I'm still not in the tar and feather Berry camp but  I am very interested to see what the coaches can do to develop Blake and Swanson.. Blake's has serious areas he need work on before being a complete pro.

Swanson is a kid who has just rocketed upwards as far as development. Will that continue at UND... If hope so but that's kind of the barometer by which I'd judge the coaches on moreso in rhw next 12 months.

I expected more out of you....like more tar and feathers.  I'll bring the tar, Mike will bring the feathers, but Berry's a big dude and we're going to need some help!

The kid is only 18 and breaking records in the ushl. Definitely need a good playmaker but also need some finishers.
