brianvf Posted April 7 Author Posted April 7 The Wood loss hurts a bit, will hurt even more once Blake signs. Some UMN fans are already proclaiming the Wood/Moore/Snuggerud line to be as good as the Knies/Cooley/Snuggerud line, which is laughable. UMN still won’t have very good forward depth next season, even with the Wood pickup. 1 Quote

But I’m not sure what kind of playmakers Minnesota has on their other lines. But I also don’t really care because it doesn’t affect me lol. Quote

I wish I could agree with you but I’ll argue that if Pitlick stays, the gophers might have one of the deepest forward groups in the country, if not the deepest. Quote

Could really use a FO guy like Wilkie from the portal though. Yeah I’d rather have a faceoff specialist like Wilkie. We have guys coming in that can score and make plays. We badly need a reliable winner in the dot. 1 Quote

Depending on who leaves Mich & MSU, I don’t even think they’ll have the deepest forward depth in their conference, let alone the country. We’ll see I guess. Quote

The Sicatoka Posted April 7 Posted April 7 That’s CAR going rookie max to someone not named Blake. Quote

I don't think it's too much to expect our program to win some regional games and get to the Frozen Four regularly - Apparently on this board that is too high an expectation. Frustrations were for Hak were that he needed to win to win a Natty - frustrations for Bubs are that he needs to win a regional game. Sad. 1 2 Quote

SuhakiYeahYeah Posted April 7 Posted April 7 There are reports that say Blake is in Raleigh working with the Canes staff Quote

Sad. @Walsh Hall is also okay with Bubba's totally unearned and undeserved extention over on the FB forum, so you shouldn't be surprised. 1 1 Quote

But they've shown to do well getting good players out of the portal when needed, so I trust they have a plan to fill any holes should any further pro or portal departures happen. Quote
