GoodGood Posted yesterday at 02:59 AM Posted yesterday at 02:59 AM Turn it over on last possession of the game. Seems fitting Quote

Kab Posted yesterday at 03:02 AM Posted yesterday at 03:02 AM Schiller missed 4 free throws and 6 turnovers , 21points ‘not sure why Mal has her doing so much on inbounds plays their coach pressed just enough on the inbounds to cause turnovers, Mal no answer Quote

Und246 Posted yesterday at 06:29 AM Posted yesterday at 06:29 AM Hurst is a total liability on offense and defense. She should never be in the game. What is Mal doing? It is so obvious. 2 Quote
UND92,96 Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Per the Herald, Beal is no longer on the team. Quote
ND-fan Posted 22 hours ago Author Posted 22 hours ago yes it has been obvious for last few years and I thought Mallory would learn but she hasn’t improved other than this has been her best set of assistant coaches. We had another night of 23 turnovers and some miscues from our players but look at their minutes they were tired most had played nearly entire game. If you look when we control our turnovers we usually win the game. If you go to box score we out rebounded them, made 3 more free throws and shot same percentage. The difference is they put up 9 more shots and we gave up 11 more points off turnovers. 1 Quote
ND-fan Posted 21 hours ago Author Posted 21 hours ago I thought this was likely coming players leaving with younger players moving ahead of older players. Beal looking at her potential when she came here has been disappointment for us and for her too! She is so athletic and has size and quickness but her offensive skills never developed to where she could get playing time. Her defense was above average but for 2 guard you need that ability to score from outside as well as on the inside. I don’t know if was our not being able to help her develop or it was on her for not getting to next level. What ever it is I wish her well going into the future. Don’t be surprised if we see more changes coming especially after the season. Quote
Kab Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago I think Mal is too stubborn and too inept to change things Quote

forksandspoons Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Chaves made an interim head coach that went 2-19 the full-time head coach Quote

It’s almost like good coaches care about wins and losses 😉 2 Quote
UND92,96 Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago I realize it falls on the coach regardless, but is the bigger problem right now X's and O's, or the fact that there is so little depth? There are only eight players on the team who average 10 or more minutes per game (really only seven since one of those is no longer on the team), which leads to at least some of the starters playing arguably too many minutes. Nobody on either SDSU or NDSU's team is asked to play 30-plus minutes per game, whereas UND has three players doing so. It takes a toll over the course of a season. I can't help wondering how many more wins UND would have had this season with just a couple of more solid role players off the bench. The kinds UND probably could have had but never offered and are currently playing at UMary and other area NSIC schools. Quote

Honestly, a 8 or 9 player rotation is very common especially once conference season starts. Agree though mainly, still need solid minutes from those depth players and get them to buy into a role Quote
